Occasionally, I get a powerful urge for cashew chicken. I cant explain it, for much like missing socks from my drier, its best not to ask questions where the minutia could lead to existential dread.
So, when the urge hits I lean into it.
I am very particular about my strip mall chinese food. Many who read this know that the variances of quality have little to do with the exterior. So, when you find a good one, it becomes your spot. Well, the railroad gave me a large territory, so I am often in the need for a new spot to satisfy my primal need for chinese food. Thus, I have experienced the gambit from sublime to subpar in my game of “relish or regret”. Suxian Asian has placed itself onto my rotation of regular with what I just consumed in the manner of a newly freed hostage wrapped in a blanket eating a pizza.
The cashew chicken wasn’t too meat heavy, as it had a nice balance of zucchini, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and carrots. It also wasn’t carrot and onion heavy, as it can be in some joints.
It had a nice heat to it, that could have been heavier, but ended up leaving that warm hug feeling in my belly that I look for.
The lunch special portion was on point for the price, and the egg drop soup maintained its molten lava temperature until the very end.
Seriously, how does egg drop soup NEVER cool down? Like, its always grits in brother Gayes face level hot.
I WILL be coming back again, as the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, it had comfortable indoor seating, and it did not hurt my budget.

First time trying this spot via Uber Eats. The food was very, very good. I could tell that it was fresh and when it arrived it was still hot.

This is our go to for consistently delicious take out Chinese food and friendly staff. We travel several miles passing many other restaurants for Suxian! The food is second to none. This is the closest I’ve come to NY Chinese since I’ve moved here years ago. The prices are extremely fair as well. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Suxian used to have very good food. I’ve used them many times over the last 10 years but as time passes their food gets worse. I was really wanting some Chinese food today and even though I hesitated when I thought of them, I ordered anyway. The last few years, I haven’t been impressed.

Today I had sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice, hot & sour soup with spring rolls. The rice was bland and boring and so was the sesame chicken even though it had a nice sauce on it. The spring rolls are disgusting and super mushy inside..YUCK!

All in all, I regret my decision to order from Suxian especially since there are numerous choices around here. The delivery i always quick and the food hot but the food lacks love and care put into it but here it is sorely lacking. I literally just wasted $25, I’m still hungry and my taste buds hate me. I will not order from them EVER again!

I used to really like this restaurant. It’s too bad…in the last two years it has really not been up to par. It’s not As good as it used to be. Even the won ton soup is meh. Just a few dumplings with a tiny bit of meat. Absolutely no Vegetation, no cabbage,no Nothing. very blah.

Nice, cheap eats — exactly what I wanted. I ordered the General Tso chicken and it was delicious: lots of flavor, delicious sauce, and a good portion. The rice was also well cooked and not mushy or too dry. I went when they were backed up with orders so it took a while, but I’d say it’s worth the wait. The interior of the restaurant is also cute and mostly tidy.

I’ve been ordering from here for years. I’ve never been let down, not even once. I ordered there this evening, for several people. It was delivered hot, and delicious as usual!

I’ve not once stepped foot in their restaurant, and I really need to.

I ususually order one of their chicken dishes, but have done their beef options also and they are fantastic. Their Mongolian Chicken & Beef (H16 ) is to die for!

Pork, or Egg rolls are excellent: crispy and delicious.

In short, their food is outstanding, and the delivery is too!

This was my first time eating here . I ordered the beef and mixed vegetables and fried rice with egg in it . I will say the fried rice .. BOMB .. real good , vegetables .. excellent , really good as well it was celery in it which is weird but still good . The only thing that was the problem was the BEEF .. very disappointed it was tough I could NOT bite into it , it was chewy , not tender at all . I’m honestly thinking it wasn’t even real steak or “beef”. So I immediately called when I got home and realized and they gave me a hard time all I wanted was for them to make me chicken instead . I told them they didn’t have to make my whole order I can just bring them the beef back . They said because I touched it they couldn’t make it I would have to pay AGAIN for another order . But now I know for next time to get CHICKEN . Period. No beef .

Tried this place a few times. First time i noted the crab ragoon barely had any filling and seemed that the filling melted out in the fryer. Kinda disappointed. Yesterday boyfriend and I decided to try it again. I ordered cashew chicken and bf ordered beef chow Mein. When we got home and opened our food boyfriend realized there was no noodles in the beef chow mein. Went back to the store to see if it was a mistake and the lady said they do things differently and that’s why they put the fried wonton strips they use for soup in the bag. Confused and looking at the menu it says stir fried noodles even on the menu. The dish has absolutely no noodles why would you offer fried wonton wrappers to put on my dish. Decided to just take the hit and try to eat the food at home. Both dishes tasted bland and tasted the same. Watered down no flavor. Ended up throwing it away. Wish we could have gotten a refund as we spent almost 40 bucks for both meals. Def won’t be returning.
