A small, out of the way, restaurant. I came across it by accident and was very hungry. Some of the best Jamaican food I have had. The server was very ready to talk about the food and was very knowledgeable. I don’t get down that way very often but would go a little out of my way to have another meal there.

Id never go here again! Beef patties hard as a rock and my entire dinner was cold. Im really starting to think it was someone else’s food that just set for a loooooong time or it was taken from the fridge and put in the microwave for 30 seconds. Literally got 3 pieces of sweet potato, cold dry rice, cold chicken with no sauce. I also wasnt offered a receipt. I was told one price and then charged another. Id never ever go back here again!!! They do offer a nice portion of food unfortunately it was cold. Im.not from DE but im sure there are other places to eat from. Dont waste your time or money!

Saturday 10/8 during lunch I came to order a LG oxtail with rice and peas the platter came to $21 even. The portion was hefty and the food was good. I came in again today for lunch and got the exact same platter with 2 sodas and it came to $26 even. The portion was literally half of what I recieved less than a week ago and I paid more money. The oxtails had a sweet taste to them and they had more fat than anything with a ton of onions in my platter. I was not satisfied at all. I go to check my account and I was charged $29.90 ! After looking at the receipt I found out I was charged for a %15 tip of $3.90 I never agreed to give. I went back down to the store and showed the guy the mistake. He tells me to wait til the end of the night because it was the machines fault Instead of apologizing and or just giving me the $3.90 back he insists I come in the next day. I use my card with resturaunts frequently and never have i been charged a tip and told it’s the machines fault. I would be ok with an apology and him admitting it was a human error instead I got excuses. I’ve spent about $60 within the last 4 days with them. I also expressed how unsatisfied I was with the food this time and that didnt seem to matter either. I most likely will not go back because the food and service seems hit or miss.

If I could only give a big fat ZERO. I ordered a OX tail platter. It was extremely awful. The platter felt heavy. I’m thinking the ox tails were the bulk of the weight. To my surprise. It was latterly dough !! All in different odd shapes. Thick and doughy. Bones from the little 3 oxtails in my platter. I thought it was oxtails smothered in gravy. Talking about disgusting. Who does that!! I couldn’t bear it! Felt sick to my stomach because I was deceived. A platter full of odd shaped dough. It kind of resembled ox tails at first glance till you pick though just to find out you been scammed. Never Ever Again!!’ It’s expensive too!!

I normally check reviews before I buy food from a new place, but today I was hungry and didn’t want to go too far away from Southbridge. I ordered a small oxtails meal. The oxtails were old, chewy and hard. When I called to ask if they would replace the meal, I was first questioned multiple times as to whether I purchased them there and then after I was persistent; I was told that they do not replace bad meals. That’s poor customer service! However, if I had read your reviews, I would have known better.

Don’t order food with them through Uber eats. They call me EVERY time about the prices, then they also have listed that they sell fruits drinks. You select that on Uber eats they call saying they don’t know what kind of drink I’m asking for. The store staff or restaurant that is partners with UBER EATS should get the prices right through the APP! It’s annoying receiving a call from the delivery person about y’all prices. This is literally the 3rd time.

I have given this restaurant another try again, but unfortunately it seems I was delivered spoiled food. You can literally smell it. I ordered oxtail and the rice and peas was so slimy the next day. I also ordered steak with rice and peas and that was also slimy the next day. Even the steamed cabbage smelled like it wasn’t freshly cooked. I am disappointed.
