First time at LePasSage. Great views looking over the Katy Trail. Incentive cocktails. Loved the Paper Crane. Pullman platter appetizer was great way to try several items. All were delicious. Also had the Chinese spare ribs. So good. Sorry pic didn’t turn out. Lobster ravioli special also outstanding. Favorite item was the whole fried snapper. Especially the sauce that we drizzled over the moist pieces of fish. The presentation was amazing. Have never seen the fish prepared to make it so easy to get the fish. We splurged and shared the smoky tea donut for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will be back.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and elegant decor, but the food fell short. The breakfast tacos lacked flavor, the tortilla was too soggy to hold, and the eggs had a strange taste that made them inedible. The chicken salad was unremarkable as well. Perhaps the brunch menu is still finding its footing, but I wouldn’t return unless the food improves.

I truly thought this would be a gimmicky place but it surprised us and truly had more than what met the eyes.
The inner dining hall seems to be reserved for dinner so everyone was sat outside. There were plenty of fans so it was temperate.
The coffees and drinks were a miss but the star of the show was the matcha soufflé pancakes. The pancakes were extremely fluffy and paired extremely well with the sabayon. Honestly, the sabayon was so good, it almost felt like we could drink it.
Everything else we ordered, was good, but nothing phenomenal. Had they been, this would undoubtedly get a 4, maybe even a 5. It’s currently a 3.5 in my books.

I felt a slight level of anxiety as we made the reservation for LePasSage. I regulated my expectations because the reviews are mixed and the price point is $$$. So let’s transition to our actual experience.
As we were escorted through the main dining room to our table on the patio overlooking the Katy Trail, the atmosphere felt intimate and stylish. If the lighting was about 10% brighter, I think I would have been able to appreciate the visual details better. Our server, Tiffany, made us feel welcomed and took great care of us over the entire duration of the evening.
The food was excellent. As I took my first bites of the Yellowtail Crudo, any feelings of anxiety I had about being disappointed with the food quickly dissipated. The flavors combined with the crunchy texture tasted great. The fried spring rolls kept things going (and the lettuce and mint were the right size and freshness). Our entrees and dessert were excellent. The Shaken Beef needed a very slight pinch of salt, but I chalk that up to my taste preference. The dish needed a few minutes for the flavors to amalgamate so it tasted better with each bite. The broccoli and fried rice complemented the beef perfectly. We finished the meal with the Mango Pudding and Doughnut. The presentation was underwhelming and initially off-putting in the case of the doughnut. In the darkness of the room it looked like a lump of coal. Despite this, however, both desserts had enough flavor and sweetness to deliver a nice finish to the meal.
With expectations met, we walked home from Le PasSage feeling very happy and satisfied!
Epilogue: The restaurant charges a 3% credit card transaction fee. It made me feel like I was nickeled and dimed.

I high expectations for this place based on the chef history but this one really missed the mark for me. The vibe was right. Decor was amazing both inside and out.
For drinks we ordered the lychee martini and the buddha (tequila). They were both amazing.
Appetizers: bluefin tuna leaves. Apparently they ran out of the leaves and instead used nori (seaweed). Note to the chef: if you can’t serve the dish as intended, don’t serve the dish.
Eggplant dumplings: these were very tasty! Loved the yuzu sauce.
Entrees: gochujang roasted half chicken. This dish was a big miss. No taste of gochujang at all. No spice. It tasted like a “soy glaze/gravy”. Also the chicken was so bland inside as if it wasn’t marinated at all.
Shaking beef: this dish was great. A little on the salty side which would be bad expect we rarely got our water refilled.
Our server was accommodating though. He was great. Service overall was great outside not keeping our waters filled.
One last thing for being a French/Asian-inspired restaurant you would thing they would have something for women to hang or set their bags on. I walked inside and saw so many women’s bags sitting on the floor. Unacceptable coming from a “Michelin” chef.

Le PasSage was a good experience and I thoroughly enjoyed and while I give it a 5 stars review I did want a little more. I’ll start by saying the cocktails were amazing. Their take on a white Negroni was top notch and the paper plane was stunning. In addition the tea donut for dessert was something I’ll come back for. It was incredibly well prepared and had great taste. The tofu and bluefin however, while still very tasty felt like they were missing something. They could have used a little more flavor or something to brighten them up. Both well prepared but lacking in overall execution. Overall had a great experience, will come back but still a little room to improve.

Loved the atmosphere. It’s perfect for a date night or girls night out. We sat on the patio and it was cozy and warm. The food was delicious and I loved that they had several gluten free options. The prawns were delectable and my friends enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was a little slow in the beginning but it picked up as our meal progressed. Will certainly be back!

If I could leave 0 stars, trust me I would! The service was beyond disappointing. We were standing at the counter expected to be seated right away and no one ever came. Whenever a guy did decide from the curtains told us to go outside to the hostess; only to come back right where we were originally?! We were seated , at least 10 minutes go by and no one approached , right? We let it slide. We finally get water after 10 minutes, and still no server? When the server finally makes an appearance he first starters didn’t greet us or introduce himself, just asked us if we “are good? “ like what? Can we order? We tell him our order simply and clearly, he didn’t write anything down… only to come back to our table after he had walked away to give us our completely wrong order…. I didn’t fuss. The server was weird to be completely honest! He treated the rest of his tables with kindness and even sparked some conversation but he was completely different with us. I left no tip! Whenever I asked for the check the amount was $97.42 dollars only to be charged $106.08 dollars in the end, regardless I left $0 tip, I’m sorry but be mad at yourself! A tip is earned not expected? Especially when I never felt welcomed or comfortable. So beyond petty that I received a call hours later stating that the transaction “declined” and didn’t go through?!! Whenever the payment is already pending?! Make it make sense? Some lady; Jackie confirmed that my total was $97.42, right….. I was charged twice! First $106.08 and then $97.42 ?! When is that logical? Don’t recommend this place at all, beyond weird! Please peep the picture below?

We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and one of the best we’ve had in Dallas. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. We tried the eggplant dumplings with chili oil, bluefish tuna, and shrimp dumplings, and all of them were fantastic. They also offered sunchoke soup on the house, which was good but a bit too rich for my taste.
For dinner, we had the green prawns, which were amazing, a new chicken dish, and steamed halibut with Szechuan string beans. The chocolate soufflé was light and delicious, and they served raspberry sorbet on the house, which was incredibly good.
We will definitely be returning with our family and friends.

If you’re looking for a place that combines intimate ambiance with exquisite food and impeccable service, LePassage is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a cozy yet refined atmosphere — perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out. We came here tonight to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday here, and I can’t say enough about the amazing service. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, adding an extra layer of warmth and care to our celebration.
Of all of the wonderful dishes we tried, the Peking Duck was the star of the show – it was nothing short of phenomenal. The duck was perfectly crisped on the outside and tender on the inside and is an absolute must-try.
For those who enjoy a creative cocktail, LePassage offers seasonal specials that are as inventive as they are delicious. The Grinch cocktail was a holiday favorite — refreshing, festive, and perfectly balanced. But the real standout for me was the Chai Tini — a unique take on the espresso martini that blended the richness of coffee with warm, aromatic chai spices.
Highly recommend!
