I just ate at Village Chicken, first time. I know Chicken is in the name, but I ordered the Gyro. I have traveled the world and had many Gyro’s. For an American establishment, they did a fantastic job! Great flavor, great presentation, and the meat was almost perfect. The ONLY negative thing I have is the meat was a little too salty for me. But, that’s just my pallet.
I also ordered the cucumber salad and coleslaw. They were both very good as well. Cucumber salad was served with a creamy vinegar dressing, and the slaw was sweet, but just right.
They serve the food on a solid plate, not flimsy plastic.
And of course the service was great! Super chill and makes sure to check on the customers. Please give feedback when you visit. I recommend the place.

I’m glad I randomly decided to eat here for the first time a few years ago. I’ve been coming back almost every week since.
Service 10/10 – The staff are excellent. Scott, the owner, has always been friendly, helpful and welcoming. There are not many locally owned restaurants where the owners know your name, but Scott welcomes his customers with warmth and a smile every time.
Atmosphere 10/10 – I love all the fun decorations and paintings on the walls. It’s nostalgia, I’m reminded of all the diners and fun restaurants I ate at growing up. It’s so much more refreshing than the bland white/gray walls you see at most restaurants. This restaurant has never been dirty. No sticky tables and chairs, no greasy floors, no dirty bathrooms. There’s always been a clean kitchen (it’s open for all the guests to see), working soda machine, stocked utensils/napkins etc.
Food 10/10 – my expectations are always exceeded when I try something new. When I started coming here I would only get mac and cheese for my daughter (she says the mac and cheese here is better than my homemade mac). Over the years I slowly branched out and tried almost everything.
Wings – excellent
Chicken combos – juicy and delicious
Sandwiches/subs – excellent
Platters – my favorite every time.
There is a Chipotle a minute walk away. Since I had the rice platters here, I don’t even think about chipotle. The platters are my all time favorite menu item here.
The rice is fluffy and flavorful. The toppings and sauce add texture and flavor. The meat is abundant, juicy, well seasoned.
I HIGHLY recommend Village chicken to everyone. I have not been disappointed once. Scott is running an excellent fast casual restaurant and I hope he continues to do so for many more years to come.

We were so glad to decide to try it here. The food was great, actually much better than the pictures. We ordered a Cuban Pork Bowl and Souvlaski Bowl. Both of them were so delicious. We loved them. They served them in a metal bowl which is better than a plastic bowl. The price was $11.99 with a drink for each bowl. The staffs were very nice. We want to try other menus next time.

Much better location in the same strip mall. Food still awesome and everyone friendly from the owner down to the servers. This food is authentic and extremely well prepared. The village salad or village bowl are my favorite but everything is fresh and tasty. Prices are excellent compared to Panera where shrink-flation was in vogue before inflation and Chipotle where the food can taste old and stale. Once you visit you will become addicted!

We ordered here for the first time because they had fairly high ratings. Please see the pictures included. We got the whole chicken family meal which included cookies. One of the pieces didn’t even have any skin or seasoning on it. We never had any place delivery dessert in a plastic baggie like it was leftover from a child’s lunch, the cookies were hard & weren’t even in shape to be for any customer! Additionally, we ordered the triple meat gyro which is also pictured, you can barely even see any meat at all! Lastly, we ordered the cheesesteak, which also barely had any meat. What a waste of money!

Finally stopped by after many years living in the area; so glad I did as thus place is a hidden gem!!! Great chicken, gyro’s, sides and the yucca is suprisingly one if best I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable and large portions of food. Definately a place to add to your lunch and dinner dining.

THE TRIPLE THREAT! Tremendous flavor, locally owned, eclectic space. Staff was friendly, service was a bit slow but only because they made it fresh at time of order :-).

We never new this restaurant was here. What a great find. Awesome food. I had a classic gyro and a chicken swarma gyro. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered a dozen chicken wings plain togo. Very flavorful. Ordered a pulled chicken cheese sub togo as well. Lots of flavor. My gyro came with two sides. I had a corn and blackbean salad and a regular salad. Overall the good is great, Friendly folks. Will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.
