First time here, and the food was absolutely delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to Peruvian cuisine, but I was truly impressed by all the flavors. The ceviche was fantastic, and the lomo saltado on tostones was incredibly tasty. The ambience is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Make sure to give them a try, it’s a new restaurant, and they deserve your support. Great job everyone!

Diana our server was very pleasant , she recommended us what to eat and it didn’t disappoint . The owner offered an appetizer that consisted of scallops with cheese baked in the shells. Was delicious. We recommend this place . Gave them 5 stars!

What a gem! My husband first stopped into Lima 1535 on a whim for lunch and came home raving about it, so we went back together for dinner on a Friday night, and I’m so glad we did.

This restaurant is tucked away in the Goldenrod Plaza at the corner of Goldenrod Rd. and Curry Ford Rd., a true hidden treasure. Parking was easy, and we were seated right away. Since the restaurant wasn’t too busy at first, we even got to choose where to sit. Irina, our server, was absolutely lovely, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions (this was my first time trying Peruvian food).

We started with the Conchitas a la Parmesana (scallops baked with parmesan cheese), warm, cheesy, and delicious right in the shell. For my main course, I tried the Alpaca Medallions over Quinoa Risotto. Yes, alpaca! The meat was tender with a light, slightly sweet flavor, and the quinoa risotto was rich, creamy, and unlike anything I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the Pescado a lo Macho (Peruvian seafood-style fish), butter-soft fish topped with calamari and shrimp in a rich, creamy sauce, served with white rice. Both entrées came in gorgeous imported dishes from Peru, which added to the experience.

To drink, we tried the Pisco Sour Maracuyá (Peruvian grape brandy with passion fruit). It was bright, tangy, and so refreshing, I’ll definitely order it again. Dessert was the perfect finish: I had the Alfajores (shortbread-like cookies filled with homemade caramel), which melt in your mouth. My husband had the Cuchareable de Chocolate, a decadent layered mousse with their caramel, rich, silky, and just the right size.

The ambiance is wonderful; bright and welcoming during the day, sleek and romantic at night. They also have outdoor seating with tall flame patio heaters, which add such a cozy, elegant touch. The art on the walls (imported and created by the owner) is beautiful, the bathrooms were spotless, and there’s a cozy seating nook in the back that would be perfect for small groups.

This was such a sweet surprise in our area, and I’ve already recommended it to friends (who came back with the same glowing praise). Lima 1535 absolutely deserves 5 stars, and we’ll be back again soon!

Note: I saw a couple of 1-star reviews, but our experience was the complete opposite. Service was attentive, the food was superb, and we left full and happy. Sometimes it just comes down to perception—one reviewer even said, “food is food,” and yet they ate it! From our visit, Lima 1535 delivered quality, care, and a true taste of Peru.

(Small notes: the outdoor signage could be a bit easier to read from the street, and the blender for drinks was a little loud—but these are minor things compared to such a wonderful dining experience.)

Let me just say… Lima 1535 understood the assignment!

The food? Ridiculously good. The ceviche was so fresh and perfectly balanced that I had a whole conversation with it mid-bite. The leche de tigre had the right kick — not too spicy, just enough to make you text your ex “you’ll never taste this level of perfection.”

And the lomo saltado? Whew. Tender steak, that smoky wok flavor, crispy fries soaking up all the juicy goodness — I was emotionally attached by the second bite.

The vibe is cozy, the presentation is beautiful, and the flavors are straight out of Lima. You can taste the authenticity in every dish.

If you haven’t tried it yet, run — don’t walk — to Lima1535.
Your taste buds will thank you, your diet will forgive you later

Lima 1535 is a great new Peruvian restaurant in East Orlando just off Goldenrod and 408. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and very high quality, just a bit pricey, but worth the flavor! The owner came to our table to greet & made us feel welcome. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. Highly recommend!

Authentic Peruvian food in the city! Ambiance is lovely, the details makes you feel you are in a cool cevicheria in Lima. Had the ceviche carretillero and chaufa , the flavors were delicious and the presentation was great! Can’t wait to go back to try more dishes and the cocktails! A must visit in Orlando!

From the moment you walk into Lima 1535, you’re transported. Not a single detail has been overlooked — from the warm, atmospheric ambiance to the exquisite plating that feels like artwork. The food? Absolutely stunning.

The pulpo (octopus) was a standout — melt-in-your-mouth tender with perfectly balanced seasoning. Every dish delivered authenticity and flair, true to the spirit of Peruvian cuisine. But what really elevated the experience was the genuine hospitality — warm, attentive, and deeply welcoming.

Blown away. A must-visit if you appreciate thoughtful execution and unforgettable flavor.
