Obscure Mexican restaurant on the side of the road in between nothing! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door the place was not packed it was a Thursday dinner time they had outdoor seating plus a bar area. They had a wide variety on the menu. The chips were hot the salsa was fresh the cilantro hadn’t even wilted yet in the salsa! The enchiladas we’re hot they came out fast there was a large portion of rice and beans I also got a side of the Berea Taco because I want to try it and it was very good I will definitely be getting those again. Topped off the meal with their fried ice cream it was very good the display was very good the service was very good.

We enjoyed our early Monday supper very much. We had Shrimp and Fajita Quesadillas, Fish Tacos and a Coctel de Camerones.
Only one meal was thought to be less than very good which was the Shrimp Quesadilla. She felt that the shrimp needed to be sautéd to add flavor.
The restaurant itself was a bit rough. We had to have the server engineer the table legs so the drinks did not spill from the wobble. Looking around we saw many tables had that issue.
The mariachi music was loud enough that the server had difficulty taking our order. There were some large screen TV’s that had some horse race results that remained unchanged until just before we left when a race came on. Yee Haw

Great local spot for authentic Mexican cuisine! The lime margarita was standard, but the watermelon margarita was phenomenal!!! The food was delicious, great prices and remarkable service.

I don’t like complaining…but it was very disappointing to say the least…my husband and I were the only couple there besides one other couple that were already there upon arrival…
Once we placed our order it took quite some time before the food finally arrived …which is understandable had they been busy…
Once the food arrived I noticed my enchiladas looked different as the sauce was very red and light in color..it tasted more like a marinara sauce…my husband ordered hard shell taco’s and we both agreed that the beef in our food was extremely dry and bland with no flavor….the rice was very dry…other than that the chips and salsa were very good!
