What a delightful and cozy restaurant! The food here is exceptional. It truly warms the soul. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Treating you like a friend visiting his home. Pho Lao is hands down one of the best Asian food restaurants in the TriCities! I highly recommend the satay chicken appetizer, with the peanut sauce and the Pad Thai entree!

One of our favorite places to go out for lunch dates! The food here is soooo good! The wait time is not long and the staff is very friendly and attentive as well. Prices aren’t bad either. It’s small inside with only a few tables, but we actually enjoy that. If you like delicious food in a quaint atmoshpere with friendly service, then this is definitely a place for you!

Had to come back and get another fill. 4 days ago I ordered Ka-Prow fried rice with both chicken and shrimp and heat level 3. Today I raise it to level 4 and the taste and flavor did not disappoint.

IMHO there is not a good chinese restaurant in the Bristol area. While we were in JC I searched for one and the ratings were excellent for Pho Lao. We got carry-out mixed veg with rice and pork. Also pot stickers. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and the pork tender.
There are only seven or eight tables for inside dining.

My son and I stopped in on a whim and were so pleased with our lunch. He had the beef pho (not pictured) and I tried the crab fried rice (real crab!). We both had an order of fresh summer rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh. The crab fried rice was a textural masterpiece – large, juicy pieces of crab meat with crispy and tender fried rice pieces and an assortment of veggies. We will be back!

A friend told us about this wonder place. We decided to give it a try on her recommendation. I’m so glad we did. It is amazing!. The food is outstanding. Always hot and fresh. The service is great too. We have already went back, and will continue to do so. We have tried the House Pho, Pad-Ka-Prow Stir-Fry with chicken, Pad sweet & sour with chicken, crab rangoons, and the satay chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious!! So happy this is close by as well. We will definitely be going back again….and again! Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

My sister and I are big fans of Vietnamese / Thai food, and this place was right up our alley! We absolutely loved the menu selection, and everything we ordered was delicious! Each person in our family got something different from pho, to curry, to shrimp and rice, to Pad Thai, and we got some appetizers on top of that, and none of it disappointed! I personally ordered the lemongrass pad thai and it was so so good! Very flavorful, as every dish was, and balanced perfectly! The atmosphere to dine in is wonderful, as well. Our food came out in a timely manner, and those that ordered to go food seemed to get their food within a reasonable amount of time, too! I’ll definitely be back for more, and I’ll definitely try something different to experience, too!
