A hidden gem lies here in the hills of Plainfield Pike in Johnston. Its a one of a kind spot at the intersection of Pippin Orchard and Plainfield Pike. Everyone has their opinions on the best hot wiener spot, but for the area it’s located in, definitely #1 in my book. It gives NY System (Olneyville in Providence) a run for its money. The meat sauce here just tastes better to me. And It’s only a short 5 minute drive off of 295. Totally worth the drive if your a local. So if you are in the area , passing through, or looking for a quick delicious linch location, Jesse’s is the stop you will want to make.

Steak and cheese grinder tasted bad I didn’t eat it. Owner asked what was wrong I told him it tasted bad. He goes I sell alot of that no one complains. They charge me alot over $30.00 For Steak and cheese grinder and a chicken grinder and small fries.

Small portions, a elderly wome. didnt like the steak n cheese and was confronted by a older guy asking why she didnt eat her sandwich and she said it tasted off and he went off on her saying that’s bull he has never had a complaint and he sold many of them. The chicken cutlet was so so as well the fries were blah. Place was filthy. His attitude and anger was uncalled for!!!! Be a man take the criticism and learn from it and not be a perk about.

It’s one of those Rhode Island places where drive by the outside and just know the food is going to be delicious. Great pit stop after stopping at the Salisbury Corn Maze.
