The environment was decent. But the lady working the front / hostess had a very cold attitude and seemed to be staring at my date and I talk while we were in the restaurant (we were the only patrons). Having a pleasant attitude goes a long way in the service industry and that individual severely lacked that. In addition, the food wasn’t seasoned well. The food was greasy and the cuts of meat had a lot of fat, so I was dissatisfied. But I was impressed by the price point. All in all, I wouldn’t come back to this establishment again nor would I recommend it.

this low-key place is really good. excellent soup, delicious ribs, a great burger and salad. it’s a smidge less than Ferry Street BBQ, but much easier to get to.

** this was a delivery order ** I’ve ordered from this restaurant before and always enjoyed the food, especially the ribs. That’s why I was surprised and disappointed with my most recent order—I ordered a full slab of ribs, but only received a half slab. While the quality of the food was still good, not getting what I paid for was frustrating. I didn’t reach out to management about the issue, but given my experience, I’ll be ordering from a different place next time

Food wasn’t good in my opinion compared to other places like pepe’s for the price. We ordered late night around 8pm and picked up the food which was still warm around 9:30pm. Steak was chewy and the chicken and steak needed more seasoning. They didn’t fill up the containers of some of the side dishes which was a bummer. Check the video. We paid over $35 for the platter and my husband and I weren’t super full just ok… because of the lack of flavor we won’t be back

This place has checked out, the inside the outside, the food, the employees all exhibit a complete abandonment of pride or integrity. On one of the most well known main streets in the most densely populated states of the US; this place only had one table on a Saturday night. The restroom contained a visible rat trap, the fence on their property is falling over, the entrance has a menu on a makeshift pedestal that has seen better days and despite all this I still gave them a shot because I like supporting local business and have heard scattered praise. What I was given in exchange for $20 was a decent burger, oily French fries that smelled like fish, bad attitude and no napkins…. While determining if my to-go order was rung up correctly or if maybe I missed something on the menu I had the attendant walk away instead of graciously ringing me up or verifying if I was satisfied with order. I noticed bar stools at their countertop and before my food was bagged I asked if would be ok to eat in acknowledging I asked for my order to packed up maybe and help populate their otherwise nearly empty dining room. The response I received was an abrasive “you said to go” I grabbed my order after the attendant stapled the bag and left. Maybe this place is doing well enough where they don’t need to satisfy new customers, if not then I understand why.

The burger is delicious; its special sauce was really good. Sits well in your stomach. My sister got the chicken wrap. It’s very flavorful. The grilled chicken sandwich is a must-have if you are a big fan of those, not bad time to make the food, but slightly expensive. Will be returning.
