Nice staff. Easy ordering. Our selective eater loved the grilled cheese with added bacon. The milk shake flavors weren’t too strong. Would come again.

Not bad for a quick bite, but definitely not impressive.

The service was lackluster. I stood at the counter for about five minutes before the (apparently only) employee told me I had to order at the kiosk — which is positioned so you only see it if you turn around at the counter. That could’ve been communicated immediately.

When my food came out, my name wasn’t announced and there was no ticket on the bag, so it just sat there until I clarified that it was mine.

The menu pricing felt a little deceptive — they charge extra for whipped cream and a cherry on a shake, which seems like it should be standard.

Food-wise:
• Fries were cool.
• Patties were real beef, but razor thin.
• Bacon was pre-cooked and served cold.
• The Frisco sauce was legitimately good.

Overall: edible, quick, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

A firm 6/10.

Great place if you are in the mood for a shake or two. The burgers aren’t actually half bad and the fries were seasoned to the right amount. The cashier wasn’t too pleasant, but c’mon, you know I was only there for the food so it didn’t bother me too much. The food came out surprisingly quick for how big my order was. Wouldn’t mind coming back.

This place is so unsanitary. The one time I’ve eaten inside, my friend got a VERY long piece of HAIR in his burger. I figured oh this is a one off, sometimes accidents happen it’s fine. But today I spent thirteen dollars on a meal for myself and about the same for my boyfriend. I ate the fries and they were okay, bland but not bad. Then I ate my burger, I was about half way through it when I seen something coming out of it. At first I thought it was the little onion strings that come from the skin. Then I realized there wasn’t any onions on the burger, so I grabbed it and pulled it out. Sure enough it was a piece of hair. I spit out my food immediately. I’m so sick of this places unhygienic ways. You CANNOT serve people food with HAIR in it.

To say the service is awful here, is an understatement. My poor mother in law went to this location tonight and was treated with such disrespect not only from the staff (Jackson to be specific) but also from the manager Rebekah. First, she was told to wait 5 minutes before ordering which is completely fine. But then when she asked if it was OK to order because it had been 5 minutes, Jackson replied “well i guess youre gonna have to wait longer if you want to order wont you?” Which is completely unprofessional. Then they had gotten the order incorrect, so she had to go in and Rebekah the manager told her she was a completely a liar and she did not order it that way. Absolutely disrespectful. We will be contacting someone about this.

The brunswick location was disgusting. Nothing was clean. The Windows and booths were covered in greasy handprints, old food under the tables, the corners of the walls were filthy. The pop station was so gross and the pop had no carbination. I went to use the restroom and it had trash and diapers on the floor, no soap or paper towels. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. If my children had not wanted to eat, I would have left at the kiosk.

I spent atleast five minutes in the drive through before anyone came over the intercom to take my order (I was the only car there) and the drive through lady didnt say anything but how much i owed , just seems like a bunch of kids trying to run a restaurant with no real leadership ….

We just went to the drive through at 9:40pm at night closer to close than I like doing and the food came out fast, hot, and the shakes were just absolutely amazing. These are the best shakes I’ve ever gotten from a a steak and shake! Shout out to Lauren!!

Service could have been a higher score but because it’s all a kiosk experience now LOL. All they do is make your food and give it to you so half the work LOL and that’s fine. Hopefully they’re getting paid a little extra but anyways the food was pretty good if I ever remember my burger was on a juicy side with all my fixings. Not complaining. I like it. Good juicy or wet Burger. But everything is still good. It’s been awhile since I have been here. The place was decently clean. Probably could have been better cleaned but as seen or worse at other places.

The new business model for steak n shake is just like a certain gas station. You order off a screen on your own, put your own trash away and never interact with a human being. But what got me upset the most is you press the 4 dollar deal then they charge you 5.39. this is false advertising and stealing IMHO. Done with steak and shake, good memories when they used to have servers and coupons. Oh yeah and 40 for two people to eat is twice what I paid 3 years ago but at least I had a server. Goodbye steak and steal.

P.S They used to have real chicken strips now they are the size of your chicken fries. I wanted ketchup and there was no condiments or salt and the tables were barren. The food tasted good but was not the same experience we remembered.
