A unique place to have breakfast or lunch. They are open from 7:00-1:00, so plan accordingly. The Lindell hash brown eggs were cooked perfectly, the hamburger was okay, nothing too special. We wish they were open in the evenings with dessert offerings!

Good food option for the area. I ordered a very good hamburger ( no gluten free bun, so I did without)

Really cool restaurant. Gorgeous and historical inside. Cash or check only. Biscuits and gravy was worth getting, but not the best. I think I’ll try the hash browns next time. The fridge is around 80 years old which is really cool…

Lindell’s is always a fun place to visit. This last time we had breakfast and it was wonderful (especially the bacon). I also had scrambled eggs and a Belgian waffle – however it was more of a classic waffle.
The dining area is so unique, pictures can’t do it justice. It has custom designed booths constructed around the turn of the last century and a lot of cool-looking equipment all over the place. The tile floor is beautiful, and it also has a period juke box with original remotes in many of the booths.
If you are in the area, it is worth checking out this most untouched and original diner.

We went here for breakfast on our way out of town. Very cool old building with original seats and tile. Staff was nice. Food was very good. They even offer gluten free bread dog toast. Several breakfast specials for $7-$8 with coffee included. Very interesting atmosphere. Good food, real eggs!

Really good biscuts and gravy, but they were flatt and kinda greasy. Pancake was undercooked and doughy, but it was a really cool looking elephant pancake for my toddler. It took a long time to get the food, found out it was because they ran out of pancake batter. Id go back and give it a second try for sure.

Great food and staff was friendly. Like walking into a little musem. They had all sorts of fun historical facts to read about. The restaurant itself was like stepping back in time. Loved it!

Great stop while I was in the area. Great food, excellent service, and great prices (cash or check seem to be the only currency accepted). Really enjoyed the rustic feel of the place while eating with my daughter.
Note that they do have desserts, but not chocolates as the historic name might imply.

Rare find! WWI vintage arts and crafts style interior. A true ice cream parlor from the old days. Ice cream products are very good. Try the Shirley Temple Float. Breakfast good. Prices very, very reasonable… Good service. You can not pass this up. Good experience!
