We went earlier after church and idk why I keep going back. I’m always disappointed. Everyone that works there is miserable. No one smiles. Everyone looks like they are being held their against their will. The portions get smaller and smaller and the price is through the roof. I only ate a couple bites and took the rest home. I just took out my left overs and took a bite and found something hard and it was shell to the avocado—could have sworn that part wasn’t edible. I’m done with it.

As with many other reviewers and being a local Exeter township resident, I was excited for a Chipotle to be so close. I have given this specific location 5 solid attempts at coming close to any other Chipotle in the state. I’ve visited in person on more than one occasion and ordered online; all at different times and different days to see if it would make any difference. The experience has been consistently unsatisfactory/subpar. I can’t believe Chipotle Corporate hasn’t stepped in to try and fix the continued issues. Especially with the overwhelming amount of negative reviews sharing the same sentiment. The food quality continues to disappoint, flavors are off, portion size always small. The music played over a personal speaker isn’t as much of a problem as the choice of unfiltered, slurred music blasting at an unreasonable volume for a national chain establishment. Save yourself the disappointing experience and make the 10 minute drive to the Douglassville location.

This Chipotle is a complete disaster behind the counter and it shows in everything they do. The management has no idea how to run a store — they’re unorganized, rude, and constantly push employees to the point where nobody even wants to be there. They have no customer service, they rush everything, and then wonder why they make no sales. it shows because this place is always empty. What makes it worse is that it looks like only teenagers are running the entire store. Nothing against them, but a place this chaotic needs some actual grown, trained, educated staff and leadership. This location really won’t last longer here. And the manager? Easily one of the biggest problems. His attitude is terrible, and his ego is way too big for someone who can’t even run a store properly. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different location.

I ordered a salad with guac on-line to pick up in the drive through. I drove up, and 3 women (staff) were talking, and looked annoyed after I smiled and waved. One came up and asked, “What’s your name?” I told her, she grabbed the bag, handed it to me and walked away before I could even say thanks. I wish I wouldn’t have tipped 20% ahead of time.
At home, I opened up the salad, and there was no guacamole. In fact there was also only 5-6 pieces of lettuce, one on which was rusted. In a salad!
The only good news? I called and it went right to the national customer service. I was refunded my money in less than an hour of purchase. But, between the rude service and lack of lettuce in a salad, I’ll never go back there. But the plentiful tomatoes and corn were fresh, which is the only reason the food part of this is 2 stars.

Ive went here twice and got great portions!! I think a lot of the bad reviews are from the store still getting things in order with being new and all but Im hoping they end up being more consistent and all other people also get nice portions and I have! I think they’re really trying to do better if we just give them a chance. The only thing I would suggest is for the staff to have all of their hair back so no strands end up in any food 🙂

Terrible service. Small quantities and everytime i go there i have some sort of issue. Weather its charging for extra items i didn’t get, not giving me the correct change back when I pay with cash, and them not scanning my rewards correctly and losing the points because they did something incorrectly and just saying they dont know what happened and not offering any other help to resolve the issue. Then after as we are walking out the workers we bad mouthing us like all these issues were our fault. Will not be back to this location.

Ordered online. 40 dollars and I’m upset. 8 dollar chips and queso half a small bag of chips(not many chips and the chips taste stale or off) queos tastes bland. Got 2 bowls with barbacoa beef. One bowl had all the protein in one big glob of meat the meat is fatty. The whole bowl is unappetizing. Complete waste of time and money. The staff could barely understand me. I say I put in a order for nick hontz and she comes back with a bag named Shannon. The food is just not good , Moe’s bowls are unbelievably better and I hope chipotle will refund me at least … UPDATE I have gotten no refund as no one has reached out to me /:

Worst service I’ve ever had at a Chipotle. I am a very understanding person when it comes to people having bad days, but the woman who was taking my order was extremely rude the whole entire time. I felt like an inconvenience as a customer just walking through the door, which is not acceptable for any kind of business trying to make money. I hope things turn around for this Chipotle, but until then I will not be going back.

Portion sizes looked good to me. I did get double meat tho… but the meat isn’t good.
To Go bowls were up to the lid with food. Nm to complain about. Chicken meat I couldn’t eat, gross. Steak was dry.
It was near closing so, who knows if that’s normal or not. I didn’t complain.

I’m done with thIs Exeter location! I have yet to get a decent meal from there out of 7-8 visits since they opened. I’m guessing I’m not alone because I was the only customer in the store throughout my entire visit. Their parking lot is always empty. Tonight I asked for double meat but got less than 1/2 spoonful of each and when I reminded them it was double meat, not half/half, I was informed that I did in fact receive double meat by their standards. Funny, Reading and Douglassville give full heaping spoonfuls without protest. I ordered a carne asada bowl with extra chicken but only got 4.5 little strips of carne asada! At other locations my bowls are usually overflowing and have to be compacted with the lid. This time, the bowl contents didn’t even make it to the top. The girl serving me had to keep asking me what I said because she was talking over her shoulder to coworkers and forgetting what I asked for. I ended up with the wrong beans but luckily I like both types. I asked for a large drink and chips/guac. The cashier forgot my large cup. When I asked for the cup he couldn’t remember what he just rang up because he was busy talking to his coworkers. The chip bag had about 1/2 the normal amount. Literally nothing was right. The meat and rice were dry as if left out all day. You would think they are taking money out of these kids pay for serving normal portions by how skimpy they are. Definitely not worth the money I spent. I could have had a 6-8oz steak dinner at one of the 3 chain steakhouses in the area for he same price.
