I’ve been here twice and I can confidently say that this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I think it only has competition from the places I’ve been to in NYC.

BEST saag I’ve ever had (tried both chickpea and chicken versions). Chili fish is amazing. Fantastic gobi manchurian. And both of those were as spicy as I requested. *Praise hands* Dreamy dal makhani. Perfect rice. Addictive garlic naan.

My husband and friend have also tried the buffet and had nothing but glowing reviews about everything. The one thing I had a bite of from their plates was the biryani and honestly, it was a revelation – I feel like I finally understood what biryani was supposed to taste like.

Super nice service. Prices just right. But most importantly, the foooood. Can’t wait to come back here on my next trip to Michigan.

This is, hands down, our favorite for Indian food anywhere. The atmosphere is a little cold, service can be great or slow, but it’s always decent. The food is always delicious. Better in house than as pick up or door dash.

We’ve eaten here at least 50 times since my daughter started at WMU and we love it.
“Spicy” means spicy, so ask for mild if you don’t like spicy!! (This comment based on other reviews).

If you care more about the taste than ambience or 5-star service, this is the place for you.

I’m writing this review out of disappointment.

The food quality has declined significantly compared to what it used to be a couple of years ago. Today’s order was unacceptable the rice was not fully cooked and tasted semi-raw, which is basic and non-negotiable for any restaurant, especially one serving Indian cuisine.
This isn’t a one-time issue. The last time I ordered butter chicken, the chicken pieces were poor in quality and texture, nothing like what this place used to serve before. Over time, the food has consistently degraded instead of improving, which raises serious concerns about kitchen standards, chef consistency, or overall management oversight.
It honestly feels like a case of “things that look good from afar, but disappoint once you experience them up close.” The online ratings do not reflect the actual food quality anymore, and as a customer, that is frustrating and misleading.
I am completely dissatisfied with this experience. Even one star feels generous, but since a rating is required, this is the lowest possible. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering again, and I cannot recommend this place to others.

We’ve tried a dozen different dishes and everything has been delicious we’d be weekly regulars if we lived closer.

As always the staff are so kind and welcoming. The food is top notch. The aromatics of the place are amazing. I had Chicken Saag and I basically licked the plate clean!

Tried a mix of dishes and it was a flavorful experience — mostly! The sambar was perfectly tangy and comforting, the noodles had a great spice balance, and the carrot halwa was the real star warm, rich, and just the right amount of sweet.

But on the other hand, the chicken tandoori fell flat — no depth of flavor, not even the usual smokiness. coconut rice was surprisingly bland. What really confused me was the color — I think they first had lemon rice in the bowl and then added coconut rice on top, because the so-called coconut rice came out yellow.

This is absolutely the best Indian Cuisine I’ve ever had! I always get the Tandoori Chicken which is cooked in a clay oven. It is very tender and the spices give it a very delicious flavor! I also always get the cheese Naan I’ve never had such good Naan before and for what you pay you get a really good amount. The staff is very friendly! Even though I always get to go I know if I did a dine in experience it would be awesome. The restaurant is very welcoming and cleanly. 5 stars definitely if you want an authentic Indian Cuisine experience defiantly come here.

Had a great experience here! The food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind. I accidentally forgot my wallet, and they kept it safe for me, which I really appreciated. Their honesty and care truly stood out. Great food and wonderful service — will definitely be back!

Amazing buffet. The food never disappoints. Every weekend the buffet changes. The looks like brown mess, but try it and you’ll not believe the taste. Only reason service is low on rating is it was a buffet.

Small little place that’s always busy, they’re popular! The food is wonderful. The buffet has unique dishes from south Indian cuisine like idly, Sambar, and lots of curries. They also have typical dishes like butter chicken, chicken Tikka, and naan. The desserts are also very good, always with gulab jamun and masala chai.

I always see people ordering alacarte dosa which looks amazing!! But I always get pulled in by the buffet first .

This is my go-to Indian restaurant in Kalamazoo, and I recommend everyone to try it out!
