For the first time having zero issues with my order or the people who prepared it, I can honestly say this Popeyes on Rufe Snow really impressed me. The food was hot, fresh, and made just right — everything tasted exactly how it should. The staff were friendly, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about getting things right. The restaurant was also clean and well-kept, which made the whole experience even better. It’s great to see this location stepping up and showing what good service looks like. Highly recommended, and Definitely worth coming back!

I placed a mobile pickup order for the $7.99 3-piece spicy tender meal and picked it up within 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the food quality was terrible.

The “tenders” were mostly shriveled, hard pieces of breading — I received maybe one actual chicken tender. The fries were overcooked and tasted like they had been sitting out and refried. Most of the meal was inedible and had to be thrown away, which is very disappointing for a paid order.

I’ve tried to give this location a chance. The first time I visited the location to purchase a snack wrap I was told they ran out of lettuce! How? There’s a Winco, Walmart and Sam’s within 5 minutes. I chose to leave. I saw a commercial today so I decided to give the place another try. I placed an online order for a 3-piece tender meal! My husband went to pick it up. While waiting he ordered a chicken sandwich. They were taking so long that he left to bring me my meal (2-minutes away) and went back for his order.

He did say they were short staffed. My biscuit was completely hard on the bottom and my tenders had been under a heating lamp. You could tell the batter was dark and the chicken was not moist.

This location is not even 6-months old. If your on Rufe Snow, save yourself some time and just go to Canes for tenders or Chick-fil-A for a chicken sandwich.

I ordered thru grubhub and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. 1 PLAIN, 1 regular.. did they get the order right?? Of course not. You would think it would be easier to just slap the piece of chicken on the bread, right?? WRONG. This is sad. The amount of money paid for food is already high and then to have the order wrong is bs!! My daughter is allergic to mayo which is why I said NO MAYO. Yall need to hire people who can read!!

Absolutely ridiculous. I pulled into the drive thru today at 1:00. I was the second car in line and there is no possible way to pull put of the drive thru. I waited 30 minutes for them to take the order for the car in front of me and then had to wait another 30 minutes to get my food. I understand if you’re short staffed, there’s an issue or any other cause. However, not having a space for someone to leave the line, not communicating the wait time to the drivers OR telling people to park and youll bring them food is outrageous.

Just go to Lisa’s chicken down the road. Foods better, cheaper and quicker.

Wwwwwwow! First time I went, just opened. Terrible, I couldn’t find what I was looking for on the menu and the boy made a frustrated huff sound thru the speaker. Spent $15 dollars on a large combo and im starving after I ate. Got half and handful of shrimp and 1 chicken strip. The other strip was all breading and it was half a strip. I GOT THE 1/4 OF SHRIMP/ 2 CHICKEN STRIPS. Should have left the Cici’s Pizza there.

1. 1. 26 Me and spouse came here for a late lunch around 1:30pm. We stood at the counter to place an order was wasn’t acknowledged at all. So we put a order through the kiosk. Our food overall was good but the Mac n Cheese was definitely a hit! Another highlight was the, im assuming shift leader was expediting orders making sure everyone got the correct items

No! No! No! I’m from Louisiana, I know Popeyes chicken. This chicken and sides look like Popeyes chicken and sides but the taste is NOT the same. The price has increased but the goodness has decreased significantly. Service leaves much to be desired also. There was a wait for 20 minutes in the drive-thru with no way to exit. Once at the window I was told, we had to cook fries for the car ahead of you.

We were excited to get a Popeyes in our neighborhood. But this place is terrible. The service is by far the worst. They will keep you waiting forever and they never can get an order correct and when you address it with the staff and “management” they just give back attitude and disrespect, as if we are a inconvenience to them. We have had 3 very similar terrible experiences here and will never go back. We would rather travel to the other locations. Shame on this staff for such poor representation of the franchise.

I went to the Popeyes on Rufe Snow around 10:00 PM and had one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a fast-food restaurant.

I specifically ordered two thighs and was given two legs instead. If you don’t have what a customer asks for, just say that — don’t substitute without asking and expect people not to notice.

The biscuits were honestly the worst part. Both were rock-hard, borderline inedible. I understand it was late, but this location stays open until around 1:00 AM, and there was still a line, so food should not be that bad — especially on a busy street with steady traffic.

The fries were the only decent thing about the meal, which says a lot.

Late hours are not an excuse for poor quality. If the kitchen can’t maintain basic standards that late, expectations should be set upfront. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.
