We tried out Wanda for Valentine’s Day as we wanted a BYOB without a set Holiday menu. As we arrived for first seating, the owner / chef greeted & thanked all for coming. The owner’s wife sat us at a table upstairs overlooking the lovely ambience. Later she checked in and told us a little background of the restaurant, Wanda being the mother of her husband. The server was attentive without being overbearing. Tuna Tartare tower, roasted brussel sprouts, and short rib were all beyond excellently prepared and delicious. 5 stars all around! We will definitely be back!

We had a Bridal Shower here in their private room and WOW am I glad we did. The food was fabulous and everyone really enjoyed. The staff were so friendly and on top of everything. And Gilda and others I corresponded with really helped me fine tune everything. The bride was happy and this Aunt was so happy that everything went so smoothly. Thank you Wanda’s. We shall return for dinner next.

I had googled 5 star restaurants near me and I had stumbled across this hidden gem. Customer services is amazing and the food and the presentation is superb. I really enjoyed that the chef came out and introduced himself and gave us a little history about how Wanda came about.
If you haven’t been here. I highly recommend. 10/10

Service was warm and welcoming. Beautiful, boisterous dining experience. Brussels were delicious, but no bite to them only crispy leaves (which I do love but don’t want only that). The bacon and balsamic glaze in them were delicious; however, the indigestion we experienced all day was not pleasant . The Cajun steak bowl was very flavorful. My eggs arrived over done, but they quickly fixed that problem (which is very common). The steak was also slight over done, but still tender and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his eggs, bacon, and sourdough toast. The scrapple was not good, overdone, and inedible. The andouille sausage had a nice bite to it. We enjoyed our dining experience very much. I would suggest some jazz music playing or live music to enhance the dining experience. The hostess was the shining star of our brunch. She was so welcoming and even started us off with serving us sparkling water.

Had my birthday dinner here July 27th and it was great! Very posh feel. I ate on the second floor and our server was very personable! The escargot and Brussels sprout salad were amazing. My friends got the short rib and salmon and both were flavorful and filling

It was my first time, and I love this place! The atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. We did not have a reservation, but we were seated right away. The waiter was friendly and polite. I ordered the Scottish salmon, and it was cooked perfectly, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the chicken, and it was her favorite item on the menu. The bread pudding was good. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Wanda was delicious! I ordered the steak bowl with potatoes and avocado toast for my brunch entree. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts to start. All items that I ordered were gluten free, and they even have a lot of menu options that they use gluten free bread for if requested! I highly recommend, and I can’t wait to return.

Service: 10/10 – Noah provides exceptional hospitality. Thank you!
Ambience: 7/10 – not much of note, good or bad. The color scheme is fun. The hallway lighting is a bit distracting but out of the venue’s control. We’d be interested in dining outdoors once weather allows.
Appetizers:
Salted Cod: 9/10 – fresh peppers, capers, and lemon bring vibrancy to a flavorful fish.
Lobster Bisque: 4/10 – we had hoped for a creamier, more luxurious soup, but this one reads more like a tomato base.
Goat Cheese Croquettes: 9/10 – lovely herbed cheese with a lavender honey and crushed walnuts. So good!
Entrees:
Skate Wing: 10/10 – excellent flavors, perfectly cooked skate, great variety of textures. Fun and flavorful. If this was the only thing on the menu, I’d still come back a ton.
Duck Breast: 8/10 – classic rich flavors, good temp on the meat, but we wished for a juicier breast.
Desserts:
Apple Tart: 5/10 – nothing special about it, plus the tart was drier than expected.
Bread Pudding: 10/10. Yes, yes, yes. Get it.
For us, there were some hits and some misses. Overall we would definitely come back.

Perfect area for a date night and it’s fun to sit up stairs too. Elevated cuisine and fun choices for something different. All dressings are made in house and they go well with the salads. Complementary bread when you sit down too.

Went there for restaurant week and we all ordered off of the special week menu. We all enjoyed our meals all 3 courses. I had the Tuna as an app and the the Angus ribeye for dinner. The desert I had the chocolate cake and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and answered all of questions and gave great recommendations. Great place. Can’t wait to go back.
