My first visit to this pizzeria was quite an experience. If you enjoy your pizza dripping with grease, then this spot will definitely satisfy your cravings. However, I personally prefer my pizza on the less greasy side, so I doubt I’ll be coming back for the pizza itself. On the bright side, I must say that their garlic bread is a standout! It’s absolutely fantastic—perfectly toasted with just the right amount of garlic and butter. I could confidently say it’s the best garlic bread I’ve ever tasted, and that alone might just bring me back to indulge in that delicious treat again.

Just moved into the area from Chicagoland and this is the first pizza place I’ve tried here. This is, hands down, the best pizza I’ve had in years. Sure, my order was simple – a pepperoni pizza…but the quality speaks for itself and I hope it reflects on the rest of the food. Guess I’ll find out soon enough!

It’s a great place to order your pizza. I ordered mine through grabhub and it took about 45 mins to have it delivered.
That is totally fine with me cause I usually wait 20 mins on a “Hot&Ready” pizza, so I guess this is one of those where they make it as you order it? Not sure…
I’ve tried a few pizza places here in Hayward… Little Caesars, The Pizza Place, Pizza Hut, NY Pizza, Papa John’s, to name a few… but this place exceeded my expectations of pizza in North Cal. I used to believe that South Cal, specially San Diego can only offer the best pizza here in the West Coast, even from the franchise that I’ve mentioned above. In SoCal, pizzas from those franchise are better from the ones in here.
But since I found Pizza Guys, I believe that you really have to try most of them until you found the place that will satisfy you the most… and for me that’s Pizza Guys!
I love their Hawaiian Pizza, that’s the only one I’ve tried so far, but I will definitely buy again and try other pizzas.
The dough is nicely made, it doen’t get tough easily after it cools. It has a nice crisp and chewy texture. The toppings are great and seems to be freshly made. The sauce is not too thick for my liking… that’s what I hate about pizzas, too much sauce and less toppings, but what I got from Pizza Guys is the best!
The only drawback on pizzas in North Cal in general… not just at Pizza Guys, is that they are really pricey. Mine costs $19.99 for a medium Hawaiian pizza. In SoCal, I get this at $7~ from Little Caesars, and $11~ Papa Johns.
I really have to say they must lower their prices a bit.

Pizza Guys on Mission Blvd in Hayward is such a surprisingly reliable place to grab takeout pizza. The staff members are so nice! They seem to always remember me and know what order I came to pick up without even asking. The food is ready almost as fast as I can get there. I would recommend getting double cheese and sauce on their pizzas.
