Taqueria Dos Amigos Temple Tx

I keep giving this a place a chance hoping it’s not me but I will never go back. I come all the time to get tacos and the mess up or forget something or have me waiting forever. This time I had to wait 30 mins for some menudo that I couldn’t even eat. It had so much herbs that u can’t eat. Look like black bugs. Speaking of when I opened my drink after just drinking it I found a bug. The service suck. At least for me being blk and it’s my fault for keep going back hoping for a different outcome. But they will never receive my service again. Message received.

This was a completely random quick stop, and the place was surprisingly good. Loved the mini tacos with limes, toppings, and beans on the side. Hammered through six of them in 15 minutes while parked out front.

I had a big order that I called in the day before. They were done early and everything was delicious! Everyone I gave a taco to said it was delicious! We were given tons of delicious salsa as well. Plus the staff was super friendly! Definitely my got to place from now on!

I recently relocated to Temple and saw the reviews so l decided to check it out. I went thru the drive thru and odered 4 tacos and also an Horchata. I was not impressed at all! The beef tacos were not good starting with the cold tortilla! I asked for corn tortilla and was expecting a yellow hot corn tortilla like the ones pictured on the menu.. not impressed with the pastor tacos at all either, too salty with what seemed overly seasoned taco again with a cold tortilla! On the other gand the anticipated Horchata was forgotten in the original order and so they added it to a new order while l waited again only to drink a warm Horchata, not even cold. It was seved with ice but apparently jyst nade and poured into tye foam cup so it was still . Honestly not what l envisioned for a hot spot authentic mexican place. Lication was great not far from my home. But 18 min drive was not what all the hype was about! Im picky with my tortillas. They are not yellow corn moist and hot tortillas they were cold, stale white tortillas…its a no go for me folks!

The lunch and dinner items are good but the breakfast is horrible. They use ham instead of bacon when they advertise it as bacon and egg. Also ham has more fat on it than anything. Also using American cheese in a breakfast taco is diabolical. Definitely finding somewhere else to get breakfast tacos

My daughter and I stopped for a quick bite. We got the Los Dos Amigas Burrito. It was great. We split it because of the size. If you alone, come hungry. Priced reasonable considering how much they stuffed in there. One thing surprised us, were beans added. It wasn’t on the list of ingredients. Not a fan and usually request no beans, if we had known. Otherwise it was very very good. Will be back to try another menu item
