Ordered pickup thinking I was having a peaceful night in. Instead, I got a full-contact experience with my bathroom floor.
Food tasted fine at first (which honestly feels like a personal attack now), but about an hour later my stomach started sending out emergency alerts. I didn’t order the “express cleanse” option, yet here we are.
Packaging was neat. Timing was good. The aftermath? Unforgettable.

Ginger and Garlic is the best, near authentic Chinese food in western New york. I feel like it’s better than PF Changs. General Tsos is their best dish, but all dishes are far superior to other takeout Chinese in the area.

I don’t ever like to do this but the food was just okay at best. I remember them being better than this when I lived here. Steamed dumplings you really taste the dough/flour and the dough is thick. The Garlic Vegetable sauce was thin. The Rice was also just like steamed in a rice cooker instead of the standard sticky rice you get. Lo mein seemed overcooked. I’ve eaten at dozens of Chinese restaurants and this doesn’t hold a candle to a lot of them. The best one being Four Seasons in Honeoye Falls, NY. Im willing to give them another try sometime and change my rating and I hope that is the case.

Don’t bother trying any other Chinese restaurants in the area, for take out they are by far the best (and we’ve tried them all). The quality of flavor is leagues above anyone else in the area.

Earlier today I ordered 2 hunan chicken and pork fried rice. best chicken I’ve had.. crispy, not too spicy, perfect complement of sauce. Rice was perfect. Highly recommend, will continue to eat here
