The only good thing about this restaurant was a nice atmosphere. The fish tacos were low quality and the shrimp tacos breading wasnt cooked all the way. You could taste the chalky flour from the batter. The service was absolutely abysmal and there weren’t prices on the menu. So i was surprised to see i had pay $7 for chips and guac.
Our total came out to $89 and we only got 3 items, 1 side and two sodas.

Really good mexican food at a good price. The service was amazing and really attentive. Even asking if we wanted to move to a spot near a outlet because we were working on a laptop. The quesabirria was very flavorful, some of the best I’ve had in Minnesota. The chilaquiles are also amazing and some of the best around. This place should be packed, go support a local business really doing a great job! Oh yeah the drinks are also really good and strong.

Went there for lunch on a Saturday. The food was delicious and the server was friendly. I ordered a basic house margarita and it was very well made. AlPastor Street tacos were very tasty!!

This place has AMAZING food! We ordered the Sopes, Alambre and Quesodilla and it was all delicious! Service was fast and recommendations were great! I didn’t snap any photos because I scarfed it down so quickly! ;-P Definitely recommend trying this place out and it was a perfect meet up spot for a show in downtown St. Paul!

This is an alright place for Mexican food, the real star of the menu is the tortas but nothing exceptional. The flavor is okay but could use some more seasoning/spice. None of the food is offensive but also nothing making me want to go back. Also, one little thing but if you are in a group of maybe 5-6 there is an added gratuity, but when you go to pay the receipt is not itemized and asks for another gratuity on it. I didn’t realize until I asked for an itemized receipt because it seemed way more expensive than it should have been. I’m a strong believer in a 20% tip, but it almost felt like a trick.

I adore this restaurant. I bring all of my out of town guests here. Every visit they’ve made me feel like an old friend coming to visit. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s also a bonus that the food is phenomenal as well. I HIGHLY recommend going here.

Sat at the bar to eat, which got my service within a few minutes. There were about 5 other tables already seated or eating. Pretty casual atmosphere, albeit a bit slow for the weekend at dinner time. The to-go ordering was non-stop though while I sat there.
Waitress was pleasant and helpful when needed. Got three corn tacos, chicken, carnita, and asada. Came with two house sauces and also asked for the hot house sauce, which was a nice touch of heat without killing taste buds.
Food was good, and a few bucks cheaper than other places that sell three tacos. Overall mid tacos, but hot salsa and lime upped it. The only complaint was that all three meats weren’t reheated on the grill, with the corn tacos, before serving. It was obviously prepped and kept warm somewhere, but it bought the end result down a bit. 30s on the grill, maybe with a little bit of drippings, would have really upped the tacos. Making them coming out looking fresh and hot would easily make them better.
All in all, competitive price, mid food, average waitress engagement. Maybe I got lucky this visit, compared to other reviews, but I’d give it another shot sometime if I want just tacos.

Been here twice, Food is very good, I had the steak tacos with rice and beans. Food came out in about 10 minutes. Waitress was friendly. The portions on the rice and beans are very tiny though, served in very small sauce sized cups. Would recommend.

If you want the good stuff go to their store on Lake Street in Mpls. This spot in St. Paul is a chaotic. Service is haphazard and the food isn’t as good. It’s the same menu but not executed as well. I love their habanero mango salsa but it was bitter here. The printed menu is confusing, it’s hard to tell what comes with each order. When it’s busy , it’s hard to hear yourself think and even harder to get the server’s attention. I’ve been multiple times and each time it’s a little disappointing. So go to Lake Street and get take out there, you’ll be happier.

The food there is delicious and I love their chips but their service needs a lot of help. We were the only people in the dining area and waited 5 minutes to order our drinks because the employees were playing with a flower. We got out food, which is good, but had to ask for the chips that are supposed to be served before the food. The waiter asked if we were done and we said yes… so instead of bringing our check he decided to go clean the bathroom. Love the food but the service the past 4 times I have been there have been subpar. Get the food to go. Don’t waste your time dining in.
