I had a fantastic time at MJ’s Bar in Long Branch! The atmosphere was lively, and my cousins really stole the show with their karaoke performances. We all had a blast singing together. Plus, the pizza was great—crispy crust and delicious toppings. It was the perfect spot for a fun family night out! Highly recommend it!

Mj’s is a bar/restaurant that has a number of locations around the area. Their food and drinks are standard fare for this type of place. Sometimes they have good specials on burgers and beers. The quality and flavors are good and the service is good as well. Lots of people come here to watch sports, but not me.

We ordered a specialty pizza of penne vodka and crispy chicken. Probably the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Tasted like the inside of a refrigerator, if that makes any sense. What a let down. Pizza hut is better.

Jay was a WONDERFUL server! He was always smiling and cracking jokes. Not only did he do that, he also got us our food quickly, and when my dad requested a TV switch so he could watch his favorite game, Jay immediately did it! Would totally recommend!! (He also complimented my art!)

Used to be the Sitting Duck.. MJs gutted the place and made it a somewhat sterile sports bar. I had the Chile which was quite good but came without chips or crackers that I had to ask for. The chicken wrap was good and was served with ‘homemade’ potato chips. Mmmm

Food is a 6 or 7/ 10. Service is terrible. Stand up front, no acknowledgment by bar tender or anyone.
Ask to be seated and host looks at me with bug eyes. Seat myself. Wait. Passing waitress says I’ll bring you a menu. Wait some more, nothing. Walk out. Better options in the area. Not the first time with service issues here. They need to do better, much better.

Love coming here on Wednesday nights for karaoke with Sheri. Food is always on point and the staff is very responsive; even on some of the busiest nights. Hats off to Bella and Ella. Only regret is I wish they would have Jambalaya more often
