An excellent place in every way except for the transparency of the final bill. TheFork’s discount isn’t clearly shown when the bill is presented, which creates some doubt—are we really getting the discount? Apart from that, the food is excellent, very tasty and well prepared, the service is attentive and fast, and the decor is beautiful, with clear references to the iconic French cinema star Brigitte Bardot.

We woke up craving some hearty brasserie food and decided to give Bardo a try — and wow, it did not disappoint! The French onion soup, confit duck, and steak with three-pepper sauce were all absolutely outstanding. We finished by sharing a plate of profiteroles, which was the perfect ending.
Portions were generous, prices fair, and the flavours spot-on. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for dinner as I was craving French cuisine. The staff is welcoming, friendly and very efficient. It has a nice ambiance with the lighting and hints of French flair. Although I wish they had dimmed the lights sooner than 7pm as it would have been much more cozy. They played good background music at a low level where you could still have a good conversation. The food was the best part. The beef tartare was incredibly flavorful. The lamb shank was moist and falls off the bone easy. The sauce with the lamb was delicious. The duck was also cooked perfectly and had so much rich flavor. The dinner ended with the chocolate profiteroles. They were so yummy! I would definitely recommend coming here for a nice evening out or a special occasion.

Great service, attentive staff and very warm.
Decor is modern, chic, but the red also involves a classic upscale feeling.
Not to mention the bathroom, was innovative!
Food was great, nothing to pick on.
Loved the house-made bread and butter cream, especially the olive butter.
Rump steak was tender, sauce goes great with the fries.
Baked rice was tasty too, duck was fragrant, salted to perfection, with charcuterie mixed with the rice, the whole dish was very balanced.
Only thing is they forgot our coffee at the end, that’s all.

I’ve been many 5 stars hotel restaurants all over the world in my life, so here is my honest review. I had a lunch menu here. Made a reservation at 12:00, they are not ready yet so waited 5 minutes, no problem. The place is clean and comfy nice decor. All the staff paying attention very well. My lamp stake was very hard and chewy, sauce was good but very salty. That’s why I gave them 3.5 stars. Main dish is important. If you can’t impress the people for lunch they won’t come back for dinner. Welcome mini sparkling wine and white wine, dessert was great. I ordered extra coffee not including the menu. Overall, spend around 25€ per person was great deal. Waiters are nice and they speak English. That’s very important too. BGM is perfect volume. I have to come back this place for try another menu then I will decide to go back or not, because this place is very close to my house. I hope next visit will be 5 star ⭐️

Okay, didn’t actually eat the food. We stopped in for drinks. But those were fantastic and made with care and attention to detail. The bartender took pride in what he was doing. The bathrooms are interesting, so it’s worth having a look at them. If the chef cares about food the way the rest of the staff cares about everything else, it’s probably an awesome experience all around.

It’s rare that I would give 5 star reviews in every category but this one is definitely worth it. Just wanted to recommend Bardo in Lisbon. I love French food and there’s not many french restaurants here. It’s named after the gorgeous Brigitte and there a lovely large photo of her in the washroom. The food was all huge portions and while not amazing it was extremely good. Foie grais terrine was delicious, onion soup too. The steak tartare was hand mixed at your table and and confit duck and lamb shank to die for. Even my kids loved it but they mainly ate bread, ice cream and chips. It’s a little fancy so no beach shorts and sandals allowed but they did turn a blind eye to my kids in shorts! Service impeccable and extremely attentive without being intrusive. It’s just off the Avenida da Liberdade, opposite the BBVA bank if you know where that is.

We celebrated my birthday here with a group of 10 people. Unfortunately, more than half of the guests later experienced what appeared to be food poisoning, including myself. Symptoms included vomiting, high fever, and stomach pain.
Very disappointing experience, and we do not plan to return.

Delicious food, no doubt about that, the staff is great and they do have a good wine selection. But there was absolutely nothing justifying the €140+ bill for only two people.
Yeah it was ok… but nothing amazing. The place itself tries to be fancy but the furniture is cheap and uncomfortable, there’s no valet parking! That was a nightmare tbh the reason we wont come back.
Overall, it is good, but not enough for the price.
