They’re so quick! A very nice girl was our server, and she was so sweet to my bf and I. The food was super well made, and they had cute Valentine’s decorations up! We were given chips and salsa almost immediately when we sat down. It was our first time there and I will definitely go back!! We made sure to tip well, they DESERVE IT!!

I have become a regular customer. The food is good. The service is GREAT. Everyone’s always so warm and welcoming. Daniel, a server / manager has always taken excellent care of me. They will turn on the game I want on the TV when I sit at the bar. I have never once had them deny a request. Tonight they made a special item not on the menu for my gal. I am fond of the Burrito California with both chicken and steak with three different sauces (red salsa, green salsa & white cheese) like the Mexican flag. It’s HUGE! But, what makes this place really special is the very kind staff.

The wet burrito was a standout, arriving smothered in a rich, creamy sauce that complemented the perfectly seasoned filling. The tortilla was soft yet sturdy, holding together a generous mix of ingredients that included tender meat, beans, and melted cheese. The sauce added a delightful kick, balancing creaminess with a hint of spice that lingered pleasantly. Paired with the side of rice and refried beans, which were seasoned to perfection, it was a hearty portion that could easily satisfy two people. In fact, we could barely finish half of it, so I’d recommend going in with a hearty appetite—or plan to take leftovers home!
The molcajete was equally impressive, served sizzling in a traditional stone mortar that kept the dish hot throughout our meal. This dish was a feast of flavors, featuring a combination of grilled chicken, ribeye steak, chorizo, and shrimp, all topped with their special molcajete sauce, cactus, and onions. The meats were cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful—while the cactus added a unique texture and taste that elevated the dish. The accompanying rice and beans on the side were a nice touch, providing a classic foundation that rounded out the meal. The portion size was generous, and like the burrito, we found it challenging to finish, which speaks to the value and abundance of the servings.

Overall, El Rinconcito offers great food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot. Just be prepared for large portions and come hungry! I’d happily return to savor more of their authentic flavors.

Went for lunch on my way to a job and I’m glad I came here. The service was good and the food came out quickly! Finally tried a tamales for the first time and it was good!! Definitely worth a visit!

Im from San Diego. I have had mexican food all over the cou try of mexico. THIS IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD! Also got immediate diarrhea from the nachos. The salsa was runny and not spicy at all. The food was blad with no real seasoning. This is the most white washed Mexican food I have ever had. I’ve eaten food from a cart on the streets of Tijuana and didnt get the shirts like I did with the food from here.

Had another incredible experience here today. Authentic Mexican steak tacos with cilantro and fresh chopped onions and lime on the side (2) plus fresh corn tortillas. Even ordered a steak fajita dinner to go for a couple dinners later. Came complete with homemade tortilla chips, homemade refried beans with chihuahua cheese and rice too!! Nothing beats homemade and the beans are nothing like that stuff they call beans elsewhere. OMG!! And only cost barely over $25 for everything!! Can’t say enough wonderful things each time I visit.

The portions are huge, and everything on the menu looks and sounds delicious. I had the El Rinconcito Fajitas, and they were excellent. My kids had the wet burrito, and it was yummy. Also, the wait staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be going back! I recommend it!
