I gave 5 stars across the board for the Alaska Taco Company. Here’s why. I called ahead of time and asked for the order to be ready in about 15 minutes. The menu is small but perfectly suited for this style of business. I tried the Prime Rib Taco Basket, it came with 2 tacos and chips with your choice of house made salsas and chipotle sauce. I was beyond impressed at the quality, presentation (especially since this is a food truck and food is served in to-go boxes), and the friendly customer service I received. Not to mention the tacos were amazing, the best I’ve had in the Fairbanks area, hands down. The chips were also made in house, and were perfectly flavored to pair with the tacos. I am not a fan of cilantro and had no problem asking for it to be left off. While a bit on the pricy side, it was worth every penny. The overall experience was fantastic. I will be coming back for sure, and next time I’ll try the $5 Friday taco deal!

These tacos were insanely good. I would say they are priced reasonably. My boyfriend and I got two prime rib that were gone before even thinking about taking a picture and were full. In the photo are two pork and one cat fish. The cat fish was cooked perfectly and the candied jalapeños on the pork and prime rib were so good! On top of everything the salsa was next level. The customer service was amazing! Highly recommend!

Had a blackened salmon and a halibut taco as a basket. I have a severe tomato allergy and they were so careful in the making of my tacos. Had them both with Chipotle sauce and wow… just WOW! They make their own chips as well and they’re fantastic. I highly recommend stopping and giving this food truck a try.

I got the chicken taco basket for $15 which came with two chicken tacos, a small but still decent sized bag of housemade chips, with raspberry salsa. They also had regular salsa and pineapple mango salsa. The raspberry salsa and chips were pretty great but I am making this review because the tacos were phenomenal. Literally the best tacos I have ever tasted. I traveled the country for work so I have had my share of restaurant tacos and this place blows everyone else away! I will not be wasting my time or money at any other taco place in Fairbanks. Alaska Taco Company, you have a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to try every single one of your tacos. Thank you for the amazing experience because the customer service was awesome too! So happy that food truck will be there even in the wintertime also. That’s some dedication but this place is so good I wouldn’t be surprised if they grew to be at a physical location too instead of a food truck.

Yeah, I dont know what to call this, it didnt taste bad. They might be tacos, but only because its food in a tortilla, but thats about it. Theres nothing mexican about what I ate. The song White People Taco night kept playing in my head…lol

only tried the quesabirria so far, kinda soggy/ not fried very well for a fried taco, meat not super flavorful. Overall solidly good enough for Fairbanks tacos. My main complaint was that it was $20 for chips and 2 tacos which was quite disappointing
