This restaurant is a true gem. The food is succulent—you can enjoy everything from perfectly grilled, tender, and flavorful meats to creative dishes with spices you’ve likely never tasted before. The different varieties of rice are a must and pair beautifully with every dish. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.
We shared several dishes with friends so we could sample as much as possible, and every single one was outstanding. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, which made it easy to enjoy great conversation.

Absolutely delicious and authentic! You can taste the love in the food. Standout dishes were Kashke Bademjan (eggplant) and Kabob Koobideh (lean ground lamb). The kabob was one of the best I’ve ever had – juicy, perfectly spiced, tender, and flavorful. Very good portion size as well. BYOB. We will definitely be back soon!

Food five stars, but the man running the store is unreliable and doesn’t refund. I had been a regular. My last order the storeowner forgot his store’s door key. I had ordered grubhub and did not know until i arrived that the store was not even open. I waited until my order was 15 minutes past due. Then, someone passing by on the street told me the owner forgot the store’s door key. At that point, I did not even know if they would open that day.
I requested a refund from grubhub and went home. About 2 hours after my order due time, Grubhub tells me that the store did not approve my refund and made my food. I tried calling Negeen but they would not refund. In such circumstance, I expect he should contact me first if i still want the food, and refund if i do not want the food anymore.
The owner had always lacked hospitality that Summit restaurant staff are known for. I previously overlooked that because the food was good. But for how expensive they are, one should have a better experience than I did.
My biggest lesson here actually is that Grubhub is terrible – pay first and no guarantee on your order. Only use it at restaurants you trust.

This BYO restaurant in picturesque downtown Summit NJ serves delicious, savory Persian specialties — fresh and well-prepared. The service was very attentive, with a nice atmosphere augmented by music. The Ghormeh stew presents a rich assortment of flavors, and the steak, lamb and chicken used in the skewer dishes is tender and well seasoned. We were surprised that there were so few people in the restaurant at 6 pm on a Sunday. With Negeen’s level of quality and value, it appears that many people are missing out on a great find!

with so many diverse reviews i was a bit skeptical of this halal persian spot but decided to give a try. I am so glad I did. The food was amazing; fresh and high quality ingredients up there with the best persian restaurants I have had across the world. The service was excellent as well; i did not have to wait too long and the ambiance was just right.

By far the best kebab I’ve had in the US. Loved the food and the atmosphere and the people were lovely. Also, ordered a pitcher of Dough and a side of Zeytoon parvardeh and got Faloodeh & ice cream for dessert… everything came in the original flavor definitely going back.

As a Persian who has lived in Iran for over 30 years, I must say that this restaurant can easily compete with the finest dining establishments in Iran. The quality of their food, especially their kebabs, is truly remarkable. If you have an affinity for meat, I highly recommend trying their barg kebab. It is BYOB restaurant also
