I don’t know how this place stays open
I stood at the counter for at least 20 minutes waiting on someone to walk up to take my money for the breakfast burrito that came out out of the hot box and yes, can you believe it had curry American stony curry? I’m not prejudiced I believe in culture differences, but come on I don’t care where you’re from. You should eat food prepared for that country that you’re in or go back to your curry country. Service sucked place was not healthy looking and no one bite of the burrito in the trash, you went oh good this place several thumbs down they can do better seriously

We usually choose a restaurant based on its location, ambiance, and reviews—but Indian dhabas never disappoint me. This was my second time trying a dhaba located at a gas station in the US, and once again, it exceeded expectations. The food at Punjabi Dhabas was far more flavorful than many highly rated Indian restaurants. We tried the Chicken Curry, super-sized Garlic Naan, and very soft Tandoori Roti. Overall, it was a really nice experience.

Surprising good good inside gas station. Food was super hot and fresh and very authentic. Also a small Indian store inside with some India items in case you want to grab some snacks if you are on a long drive. Highly recommended if you are driving past I80.

There should be an option of giving them 0 star. I am truck driver spent $25 and guess what found bandage in the roti worst experience ever like how a cook can make roti with bandage in it . Would never recommend this punjabi dhaba to anyone. Think twice before you order food from them.

Hidden gem. Great tasty food. Authentic Indian. Goat curry, butter chicken and Kadhai paneer were awesome. Get here early before 11am if you love paranthas. Do not except good dine in experience. It’s not a dine in restaurant.

Thank Shiva for this place. I ran out of gas 1/4 mile away from the offramp to the gas station after 50 miles with no services and might never recover from that spot of luck. Just for that they deserve 5 stars. Just for existing there on a stormy day. Dunno anything about the store

I was somewhere between Salt Lake City and Reno, on the long and lonely I-80, when my stomach began whispering sweet nothings about brunch. My expectations were lower than the gas gauge on my dashboard—but fate (and hunger) led me to a restaurant inside a gas station. Yes, you read that right. A gas station. At this point I was prepared for disappointment and maybe a stomach ache, but what I got instead was pure magic.
Having been tragically deprived of Asian food for far too long, I rushed in with the cautious optimism of someone who’s been hurt before. The moment I stepped inside, I froze—not because of the food smells (which were amazing)—but because the place was filled entirely with Indian families. Not a single confused road-tripping white guy in sight. For a fleeting moment, I wondered if I had accidentally crashed a family reunion.
But let me tell you this: do not be intimidated. If anything, take it as a sign you’ve found authenticity. The staff at the counter were incredibly kind, patient with my menu panic, and guided me like culinary guardian angels.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, comforting, and served in glorious, generous portions that could fix a broken heart. I found myself at a gas station, eating some of the best Indian food of my life, rethinking everything I knew about highway dining.
This place is now officially my sacred I-80 stop. I will pilgrimage here every time I make this drive. If you’re anywhere nearby—even if you’re not—go. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is an Indian ‘Dhaba’ ( roadside rustic place mostly meant for truckers) style rustic place inside a gas station, near to the salt flats, roughly 2 hours away from Salt a lake city. We never ever expected such a place to exist almost in the middle of nowhere. There is a mini grocery as well. We had our evening tea and samosa here. The tea was very thick ( made with milk, without any water I guess). And the portion size was enormous. The Samosa was hot and fresh, and very tasty. I wish we could eat the dinner there. Next time I’m planning to return here in salt flats so as to eat lunch/ dinner at this place. They sell some house made sweets/ desserts too. I don’t know why their rating is not high, but this place is a hidden gem. Make sure to given them a try.

Very nice and friendly people. We went there after our trip to Bonneville salt flats. It was raining and we wanted some evening snacks. I was very surprised to find an Indian joint in such a deserted location. I got some hot Samosa and rasgullas. Tasted nice and fresh. By mistake I left my phone in the restaurant. It was panic attack once I got to my car. The restaurant associate was so kind to keep it safely and I got back my phone.
Samosa chat was nicely done with chickpeas curry (chole).
Value for money.
