I love going to Oh Mai. One of the best dishes to enjoy. I have been a customer with them for many many years and often go to their locations in South Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. I went in to their South Jordan location and ordered their P.5 – Ribeye & Brisket Pho and on the menu board behind the cash register they have the prices listed as $12.99. I ordered it and was charged $15.46 after tax (before tax $14.25) on my receipt. I thought maybe they made a mistake on the charge so I asked the sweet lady who charged me about the price error. Her reply was that the prices on the menu board are 10 years old and the prices of things have increased. I felt bamboozled by the false advertisement of the price on the menu board.
I hope they can have one of their employees take some time to help place new price tags on the menu board soon or perhaps letting their customers know that the prices are incorrect on the menu board and relay them verbally the new price or hand them an up to date menu with correct prices. Oh Mai thank you so much for being a part of Utah and making delicious food!

Ordered the brisket pho. No flavor at all. Brisket tough as jerky. Called and the person said no one else has complained. Very rude. I would not waste time calling to report food that even tasted half good. Just wasted $50 on 3 orders of subpar pho.

I felt like I had to do a review because there is an ethical issue that just came up. Many of my friends and co-workers who live and work in the area around this Oh Mai, have noticed that the cashier is showing one price and then adding tip on top without input from the customer. Myself and numerous friends enjoy the food, but my boss just said that we can’t purchase food there anymore on work cards due to billing discrepancy. It is truly disappointing that a business I hope will stay around is losing customers due to an unethical practice. Please stop doing this before you get reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Unfortunately this was a disappointing meal. The fresh rolls were tiny and barely had anything in them. The rice paper also was very chewy meaning it was not freshly made. The pork vermicelli while having a ton of pork it was also very chewy like it had been marinating for too long. It was also very sweet. The pho while having good flavor was not very rich it tasted watered down. We prefer cafe Trang so far.

I bought my wife a sandwich and it was her first time trying a Banh Mi. She loved it and said that the flavors were perfectly balanced. You’ll need to try the Honey Glazed Pork (S2). You can tell they use fresh high quality ingredients.

We arrived there Monday afternoon around 2 pm, and it was not busy at all. Ordered Pho, and we were served in minutes. The broth was savory and tasted pretty good! Accompanying vegetables and herbs were fresh. I would definitely return to try other dishes when I am back in the area.

The food was great and brought out in minutes. It wasn’t a busy time. I tried the number 6 spicy chicken sandwich s6. My friend had a delicious soup and was just the right amount of heat. Tables were a little sticky and the smell of pizza was wonderful as well from the pie. Nice date night, not business meeting or family gathering larger than 4 to six. Tables are very limited. I gave it a four in atmosphere because of the sticky tables. I have issues. That could be said. Yes.
