I randomly walked by Grillify and for some reason I was drawn in. I am so glad I was! If you like a burger, you will love the burgers here. I had the Black Garlic burger which came on a pretzel bun. Wow, it was cooked so perfectly (rare- to medium rare.). The burger flavor itself was so tasty and the black garlic sauce (made in house as are all of their sauces) was delicious but not overpowering. The bottom of the bun held up to the meat juices so the second half of the burger was as good as the first. The burger came with fries which were fresh, crispy and also had great flavor.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend you stop in and be prepared for a delicious experience! The picture is of a different burger when I went back a second time….the very next time I was in NYC. Place is consistently great.

Low key spot in east village serving one of the best burgers in the city. The burgers are cooked fresh, straight from the grill to your table. Juicy patties, buttered buns, absolute perfection. The fries were so good too. Glad my cousin asked to come here. Definitely a great find in the neighborhood

Great spot for a hand made to order burger and fries. I ordered a medium-well, avocado and Bacon Burger and I was not disappointed. This spot is a hidden gem and they have a lunch time special. Definitely going back for another burger and fries. Pretzel bun was a beautiful touch and was a pleasant surprise

Juicy, fresh ingredients with a beef patty of dreams (no grizzle!!). The bun was a pretzel bun that was soft and lightly toasted to perfection. Our server Lewis was super friendly.

Perfect little burger joint! The cook knows what he’s doing to say the least. Burger was perfect in just about every way. The bartender was the best. Can’t recommend more if you want a straightforward properly made burger with great service

I enjoy the small and quiet spots in the city. The fact that this place had a full bar was a plus for me. Didn’t know what to expect going in, but I left a fan. The burgers are cooked within sight of the patrons and it’s well ventilated so that you’re not hindered by the cooking/smoke etc. Server was amazing, served the whole restaurant and bar by himself. Will return the next time I’m in the area.

Omg the L’Champignon Burger was so delicious and the truffles fries amazing. Can’t wait to be back and try a different burger. They have a full bar and big screen TV. Also great attentive service. Would definitely recommend this be your new favorite burger spot!

Was enticed by their happy hour deal ($15 for burger and beer) so decided to give it a visit. The burgers are quite delicious (meat perfectly cooked and flavorful, but the buns were just meh). Gave it 3 stars because we didn’t like that we were asked if we wanted fries or onion rings like it is part of the happy hour deal, but it was extra. Mind you – the happy hour deal was only on the board outside of the restaurant, but there was no mention of it on the menu. When we asked what was included at the happy hour, the waiter said ‘its what that’s on the board’. At that point, unless you walk out of the restaurant and check, you wouldn’t have known. (and based on another review it seems like a habit to sneakily add items on the bills for things that seemed free). At the end it is still a good deal, but we felt deceived and it left a bad taste. Had it not been the case we would be coming back.

We were amazingly surprised. Burgers were just fantastic, fries perfectly done (which is not common) and the quantity was great. We came a day of rain where nobody was out and the restaurant was almost empty. But do not get fooled by the restaurant at its side with Michelin stars, you’ll get quality burgers here for a good price.
In addition, the boss is really nice and the current Argentinian cook, muy simpático!
