Taqueria El Gallo has pretty good food. I been here a few times and I usually order the super burrito that Is 15.99$ and the tacos are good too. 4 dollars for each taco which Is fine just a little greasy and dry. The service has to be better though, no greeting when you walk In and no thanks or have a good day just very silent. I asked for a few hot sauces and there was none in my bag. Prices are a little high here but still a good place to eat!

After a long 5-hour drive from LA, we stopped here to charge the Tesla and I couldn’t resist revisiting an old favorite. When I lived in Dublin about 10 years ago, Taqueria El Gallo was my go-to spot, and I’m happy to say it’s still just as delicious as I remembered!
My friend ordered the birria beef tacos and loved them only $15 with rice and beans. I went for the chilaquiles with red sauce, and they were kind enough to top it with cold veggies and a side of black beans. I’m vegan, and it’s so rare to find places that truly accommodate me, but they made sure everything was 100% vegan.
When I say I’m still drooling over this dish, I mean it. The flavor, the freshness, everything was on point. ️✨

Although it’s a hole-in-the-wall, prices are somewhat higher than what’s typical in the area. Fish tacos are good (not deep fried) and al pastor tacos are excellent. Chile Verde is also good (well done). Don’t like their chips and their sauces are meh, but the horchata is pretty good. Expect quality meats and fish.

The rudest service I have encountered. This place makes you feel dumb for stopping in and ordering food. I came in evening and it seemed like they were bothered that I walked in. Not even a greeting when you arrive.

If you are going to charge 18 dollars for a super burrito there better be ingredients in it! Barely any cheese, guacamole and says it come with cream but absolutely zero in my burrito. Place is an absolute rip off! All the tables were dirty as well.

I got a super burrito for the price of 17.63 and then the screen popped for a tip (no tip) . I requested no rice which they did, so I was happy about that. That being said, the burrito was dripping oil thru the tinfoil and by the end of it my whole hand was fully covered in oil. Not a big fan of that lol. The flavor was okay, and the sauces look store bought. A bit of a disappointment. I wanted to like it since its very close to home, but its just not worth it.

I agree with others that it’s higher priced for the quality. Everything we got was just okay. Salsa was just ok. The meat was salty and kind of crunchy in my burrito. Not much guacamole in the Super burrito.
Also, they ask for tips for the takeout. I’m not going back to the places that turn the iPad around for you to tip out of principle. I got food to go. Please price it so you can pay your employees enough.
