I dropped in for an amazing breakfast burrito. I find that no one makes them the way I hope but these guys knocked it out of the park! The jalapeño cheddar wrap was on point. Super sweet staff too! They’ve got a full coffee menu and they even carry local kombucha from Back to the Mother. It’s a great way the digestion when you’re having a hearty meal.

My first disappointing experience here. Biscuits are too burnt could only kinda eat the middle of one biscuit, gravy is good. All the specials on the board were sold out but are still being displayed? Service was very short and not friendly . I’m taking it inconsideration everyone has an off day . I still say grateful bread is a wonderful place and atmosphere, but if you know you burnt a biscuit you shouldn’t give it to a paying customer and kindness goes a long way you don’t know what somebody’s going through
Also, I open a business right across the street everyday at 6:00 a.m. I love the fact that you guys are open, and I’m just going off what is being offered on the menu and “special’s”. If there is a certain time that I can only purchase the specials , maybe for future specify the time so there will be no confusion. ☺️

It’s a good thing this place isn’t on my route to work. Excellent service, and delicious food! The breakfast burrito had a wonderful combination of flavors, and the homemade salsa was the icing on the cake…scrumdiddlyumptious! Great variety of fresh baked goods daily. Keep an eye out for their daily special. Thanks for the great service and breakfast!
Update: I dare you to try and make it to work before you finish the ham and cheddar croissant. One bite and you’re hooked! Great for on the go breakfast, lunch, or snack.

This place is good. They take pride in their craft and are very friendly. I got the biscuits and gravy. They were good but I didn’t like the sage in the biscuit. I felt it created a bitterness I didn’t really like with the gravy. I also had a blueberry hand pie. Very good. I wished it were cooked just a little longer for some caramelization but it was very good. The lemon poppyseed scone was the best thing. You really should try one.

I have been here a total of three times. First two times, average at best. Cost wise, not worth the price. Third time though was a takeout order for an egg bowl. $17. When the order was handed to me in the take out box, no weight to it whatsoever. That made me think, what had I just gotten for $17. My fault, should have opened before I left, but I didn’t. If I had, I would’ve left it with the counter employee. When I got home, it was the most inedible thing someone could’ve ordered. Bacon, spinich, cheese all melted into one glob on top of what appeared to be maybe two eggs. Non appealing and hardly appetizing at all. Recommendation, find somehwhere else.

Interesting place, they appear to make good food from scratch. Still figuring out the details but would otherwise eat here again. I had a breakfast Burrito on a cheese and jalapeños tortilla. Never seen it done this way but turned out pretty good. I do wish they didn’t bake the egg

Cute spot, I love the sandwiches. They’re worth your $$$ because of how big they are – and the coffee was also really good. They have microbrewed kombucha as well which yummy. We had an overall good experience, workers were friendly! Some tables were left dirty for awhile though so that’s why atmosphere gets 3 stars..

We stumbled upon The Grateful Bread Bakery while passing through Helena on our way to Glacier National Park. They are tucked into a cute historic part of town, and the cozy little café has everything you need to kickstart your day! Their breakfast burritos are phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly filling. They also serve excellent coffee that pairs deliciously with their assortment of sweet treats. The friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere make it a delightful spot. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in town. A must-visit!

17$ for half an omelette couple slices bacon….not good value for money today. Usually enjoy they’re foid. Felt ripped off today…And I work in anothet breakfast place in Helena. This order was poor…
Follow up – You’re right, it was supposed to be an egg bowl, but it wasn’t even that. Not your usual standard.

I’m going to start this post by saying this…HUCKLEBERRY ROLLS.
Nothing else matters. But seriously, these little rolls of goodness get 5 stars for themselves. While the roll itself is a tad bit dry, the frosting makes up for it 100 times over. I wish I bought a third because my husband didn’t really want to share.
One may ask, “so why 3 stars?” Well, everything I enjoyed stopped there unfortunately.
I also ordered a fresh fruit smoothie. It was meh. There were a ton of seeds from the berries and I’m not a fan of getting those stuck in my teeth. Plus, the only available straws were tiny coffee stirrers.
A classmate said we had to try the biscuits & gravy. But for my personal taste, not a fan. It had overwhelming amounts of rosemary and the biscuits were pretty dry. The gravy also had more of a soupy, runny texture – there are definitely better options in town.
If we come back, we’ll probably just stick to the baked goods.
