Nice spot. They messed up one of our orders, but it was still good. We didn’t ask for blueberries, but they put them on the pancakes anyway. The food was tasty. You can park across the street from the diner for an hour for free.

The Plaza Café and Diner is a charming family run establishment with a friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious, attractively presented food. The decor is relaxing, and the restaurant pristine. My husband and I have eaten here twice since they reopened under the new ownership/management, once us alone for a late lunch, and once as part of a group of six for an early dinner. Both times we were well taken care of. The menu is standard diner fare with a few interesting additions, and with the wide variety of options, there is truly something for everyone. The location is excellent, very easy to get to, and located within several walkable blocks of shops and businesses, across the street from the train station. If you are in the Morris Plains area, or traveling through, I highly recommend the Plaza Cafe and Diner! Enjoy, and be blessed!

The place is older and has some mileage under its belt but surprisingly the food was good! After walking in my first impression was to leave and go somewhere else but I’m glad I stayed. Food was delicious!

Waited 35 minutes with my 6 and 8 year old girls for pancakes and a sandwich. When I went looking for my waiter to check on the order, he told me the kitchen hadn’t started it yet because they were so busy. The place was half full. He gave me the option to leave or wait. We left

This is one of our favorite diners in the whole state! They have perfected the diner classics and elevated some other dishes; like the corned beef hash is definitely homemade and has big chunks of meat in it as opposed to the canned kind you usually get at a diner. Eggs are always cooked as requested. The burgers are well cooked and come at the right temperature. Highly recommend!
