After several months, I finally managed to come, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Escalona’s Pizza is hands down our favorite pizza spot. We officially retired from commercial chains after trying this pizza! The crust is perfect, the sauce and mozzarella are full of flavor, and everything tastes fresh and high quality.

Top 3 pizza I’ve ever had in life. I never leave reviews, but lemme tell you about the truffle pizza. It was loaded with delicious mushrooms and truffles. The mozzarella was handmade and was so creamy and succulent; a great addition to the pizza. The mozzarella balls atop the pizza was a creamy flavor burst. It’s like the whip cream on the the Cheesecake Factory cake slices…. The butter on perfect pancakes at a restaurant…. The little hint of joy you chase when you’re taking a bite. The crust was perfect. The owner himself made my pizza. He even offered me some of his special spicy olive oil to drizzle on my pizza because I like a little kick to my food. Overall, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely go back. This pizza food truck packs a mean punch. It’s classy looking, yet their pizzas legit tastes good. Sometimes people think fancy looking means it has no taste. I seriously was going to go buy some Domino’s pizza, but no, this was better and worth the treat. I’m so glad I stopped. Seriously. I almost passed it but I stopped just to check out all the food trucks I saw.. Sometimes those hidden jewels are the best discoveries. He mentioned he caters too. I thought it would be cute to have a bougie artisan pizza. Gathering Like instead if a personal charcuterie board, I could do champagne and individual personal fancy pizzas with ladies. Anyway, peep the menu. He has a great selection. This is a real review, no chat gpt or AI.

Absolutely delicious pizza! The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft inside—and the toppings were incredibly fresh. The prosciutto was thin and flavorful, paired with the arugula, cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesan. Everything was well balanced, not heavy and finished with just the right touch of glaze. This pizza is soo delicious and the guy making it is sooo precious! He asked me if I liked basil and then he literally cut some fresh basil from the plants in the front of the truck for my pizza and I love that little special touch. I got panna cotta for dessert and it was super yummy, you could tell he put love into it. He also had a dog there named Bella who kept me company while I was waiting for the pizza. I’m so glad I tried it out 🙂

Found this place last-minute because it shared my dad’s last name, and it ended up being incredible. They recommended the Rucalina and Escalona pizzas, and DoorDash delivered them in about 20 minutes, hot and fresh. Light marinara, thin crust, delicious flavor. It genuinely tasted Italian and straight out of a brick oven. Great ingredients and need more!
