I have ordered take out and it was BY FAR the best Chinese in this area. Last night, I let them deliver and it arrived hot and fresh. The veggies in the lo mein were crunchy and delicious. The fried rice was out of this world! Chicken teriyaki was moist and savory. You won’t be disappointed even if the exterior of the place does not impress you, the customer service and food quality will!

I order sweet & sour chicken with chicken fried rice along with 2 egg rolls. From the moment my husband put the food in our car it did not smell good. When I opened the food at home we had egg rolls with little to no filling, fried chicken with chicken fried rice that had dried shriveled peas along with sweet & sour sauce. In my experience sweet and sour chicken comes with pineapple, peppers and carrots. My over all rating is based on the poor quality of the food I received. The food was hot, so I bumped my rating up for that reason. I would not order food from here again.

I so love this small family owned business. I had to move away 7 1/2 years ago. I just moved back to So. Sarasota County and was so pleased to see it still open and the food taste the same. I love it, especially the spring rolls they are never greasy.

Service was good. Order was ready when I got there. Canton has always been my go to. After tonight not so much so. Food appeared and tasted old and dried out -not fresh. I got the Sesame chicken and Roast Pork fried rice and two egg rolls. Very dried out – not fresh at all. Leftovers are not even worth keeping. Sad and disappointing.

So disappointing! Have taken out from here a few times and liked the food. Not tonight! I ordered chicken with eggplant, which is what I always order from there. Well I got chicken with vegetables in garlic sauce. I called and the owner told me I got what I ordered! I did not! No apologies. He said he would have told me that if I said eggplant he would have told me no. That’s a lie. Also higher prices and less food. And there was a terrible odor to all the food. I think it was bad oil, but not sure. Everything had that smell. So, we will be ordering from China Taste, our usual spot. Food is good, they did up their pricing, but did NOT cut back on the amount.
