This truck came to my work place recently and I am glad they did. I tried their pork schnitzel, it was a huge portion, and soooo good! Worth the price for me. The man at the register was friendly and engaging, which is a big plus for me. Many of my coworkers also got food and reported that it was good. Hopefully they return to this location soon, so we may enjoy more schnitzel!

Food was delicious and I mean delicious. The price was also very fair. Definitely eating here again. Thanks so much for your great service.

This is an outstanding food truck, the best German food in this area. Always get the Brat and German potato salad, it’s truly outstanding.

The bratwurst had a wonderful flavor, I was very happy with it. The potato salad was basic but quite good. The pretzel bun the bratwurst came on wasn’t great, but that was the only flat note here.
Service was prompt and friendly, and like most trucks these days they accept cards.
The truck is one of the nicer ones I’ve seen as far as decorations go, with photos of their food as well as landmarks from Germany plastered all over it.
My coworkers tried the potato pancakes and weren’t impressed, so focusing on the sausages may be best.

I get food from their truck every year at Woosterfest. The food is fantastic and they are always so friendly.

Finding “A Cut Above” food truck was an unexpected delight in Dayton, a city not known for its German culinary offerings.. The heartwarming welcome by the owners makes every visit special, enveloping you in a sense of family. Frau Schnitzel even offered tips for my upcoming trip to Germany, all while serving the most authentic schnitzel, bratwurst, and kartoffelsalat. It’s more than just food here; it’s an experience, wrapping you in genuine German hospitality and culinary delight with every visit.

Overall the food was very good… The pretzels were very happy and the cheese was straight from the heart and soul of the food truck. The potato pancakes were very edible. The brat was on a large fluffy bun, the brat had so much flavor. Fries were just amazing. Another thing that was actually good was the potato salad! The prices seemed reasonable. Also, to top it off, the man working the truck was jamming to some German tunes. I felt transformed which I am pretty sure is required right now. I would highly recommend this food truck.

Overall the food was very disappointing… The pretzels were very sad and the cheese was from a can. The potato pancakes were not even edible. The brat was on a tiny burnt bun, the brat didn’t have any flavor. Fries were just meh. The only thing that was actually good was the potato salad! The prices seemed reasonable but not for the quality of the food. Also, to top it off, the lady preparing the food didn’t wear a mask, which I am pretty sure is required right now. I would not recommend this food truck.

Had the pork schnitzel sandwich… Delicious!! I was a little leary of the “secret sauce”, but it went VERY well with the sandwich! And, the sandwich was quite large… could barely eat it all (but of course I did!).

I just got my pork schnitzel burger and german potato salad. Im from korea so I’m more used eat Tonkatsu so i asked pork schnitzel without buns and it was pretty good I was worried about saltness I don’t like salty food but it was not salty at all actually I kinda needed more sauce. Although, I didn’t like veggies on the top of the schnitzel cuz it makes schnitzel less crunchy.
They forgot to give me german potato salad but they gave me right away when I go back there to ask. Potato salad was warm and a little creamy with some sourness I wouldn’t eat just salad itself but it was perfect with pork schnitzel I highly recommend to eat schnitzel without buns but veggies on the side with extra sauce! (or salt) I will definitely try again!
