Becky was so nice. Food was ok, not fantastic. Price was good. It has been around for a while. Parking and right off the road. Not very many choices along the route. It was clean but very outdated. Quick and way better than fast food for sure.

Spent Father’s Day lunch here 2022. You seat yourself. We were quickly served by a young man. The menu had many items on it. We chose chop steaks. We were also served a small basket of chips as a free appetizer. The drink cups were small so that would be one recommendation I would make is possibly get little bigger cups. The chop steak was good baked potato good Texas toast yummy nice side salad. A little expensive for lunch about almost $15 for that meal. But it’s the first time that we’ve been there so it was a special occasion. I would definitely visit this place if you are in the area.

The sign says FAMOUS MARGS in the SW!!! This would be the first Marg to kick off my husband’s birthday weekend in NM and it definitely is an excellent Marg!!!! 1 Marg will do it! Very strong. The mozzarella sticks are great.
Lots of homemade items like the Pattie’s and fries! Down home SW!
Stop in and let us know what you think.

We stumbled into this place on a Saturday afternoon, passed by a few times but never stopped. If we are in the area again we will definitely choose this place. We both had burgers, one classic one patty melt both were good portion, fresh cooked, fresh garnish and the best handcut fries we had in quite awhile. And the price was perfect it was like stepping back in time a few years $10 each about being from Chama NM with limited options and very expensive pricing it was a nice change. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, even came around at the end of the meal with fresh pudding for no charge, and our tea never went empty. Will definitely go back.

The parking lot was full of local plates, and no wonder—the food was wonderful. We had quite a wait for our bill, though, because there weren’t enough waitresses to keep up with all the customers.

A very good small town eatery and bar. Large place. We just had a late lunch. Food was excellent. Looks like it would be fun for an evening hang out.

I LOVE WAGON WHEEL. It’s one of my favorite places literally in the whole country for a margarita, they are something special. Hamburger steak is always so good too what the heck. I hope it’s around forever.

Still trying to figure out how a beef enchilada, a bowl of “chili” (I use the word chili because that’s what they called it) water and two teas were $34 with tip.

My husband will eat just about anything. He left food behind. And I’m not sure where these folks learned to make chili, but it was more like wet refried beans with a few chunks of over cooked beef.

If you are starving to death, it’s an option.
We won’t be hurrying back.

“Authentic Mexican” is a bit of a stretch. “World famous margaritas” is even more. BUT, this may be one of the best atmospheres in the SLV. The waitstaff was fun and cordial. But what made this place was the locals coming in and causing a raucous. Had so much fun! Great drink prices and decent food. I’ll be back for sure.
