Last min choice, admittedly based on fact everywhere else was either closed or not serving at the time we came (early afternoon) very very glad we did. The staff were lovely. And the food was lovely. Risotto was incredibly tasty and the gnocchi was great. Next time will have to try the pizza as it looked so good as walked past us 😉

Garlic Mushrooms – Absolutely gorgeous
Prawn Cocktail – a little dissapointing, prawns were small, like shrimps from supermarket, but the overall dish was nice – great flavour.
Mains
Salmon Tagliatelle – Beautiful flavour, lots of salmon.
Seafood Risotto – Sadly, used the same small shrimps mainly, but amazing flavour and large portion.
Overall – very happy with dinner.

We visited for a 3-course lunch, and while the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the food simply didn’t live up to the £70 price tag.
As an Italian restaurant, I expected fresh, vibrant flavours. Instead, every course felt weighed down and over-processed; almost everything was smothered in heavy cheese, making the meal feel incredibly greasy and “beige.” For a lunch deal, the dishes should be much lighter and more colorful. Unfortunately, we both left feeling quite unwell.
I truly believe I could have cooked a better, fresher meal at home. Disappointed, as we really wanted to like this local spot.

Absolutely fab evening!
Attended a group meal that catered for approx 34 people last night. Food was pre-ordered from either the Xmas menu or the regular menu, providing an enormous choice for us and no easy evening for the chefs! This was a VERY large group for a small restaurant; however, the waiting staff and kitchen excelled! The food was lovely and the staff were responsive and attentive. Well done to the whole team – I’ve seen far bigger kitchens and covers struggle with parties this size, you guys made it look easy and I know darned well that it’s not. Thank you for a lovely evening x

Staff were very attentive to my teenage son and his girlfriend, this was a belated valentines dinner (18.2.26) due to illness. Special attention was given to seating as my son prefers quiet, low light spaces away from crowds. A beautiful red rose was also included for his girlfriend. Can’t not rate the staff highly enough for making it a successful evening for them both, the 1st of many I’m sure.

Good food and excellent service. Too much garlic with the bruschetta but the calves liver and pollo funghi were excellent. Everything is served with salad which would be a bit odd with the calves liver but they produced some vegetables on request. Puddings not really worth it. Probably one of the best places to eat in Battle.

Just wow! The staff were incredibly friendly, quick and efficient. The lighting was warm and the Italian music was a lovely touch. The food was stunning, great portion sizes and definitely worth the price.
