One great addition to the Ballston quarter variety of wonderful food spots! The food is so good and served in a way that makes you feel you’re eating a fancy Italian dish on the go! What better than eating a hand rolled pasta and a delicious meat and chicken and other vegetarian ingredients! Grazie Mille Scolapasta! Btw you can self order on the large display monitor (tablet if you will).

Pretty good! Once I saw the prices I was prepared to be disappointed and thought I could probably get the same quality or better down the street at carbonara for the same price, but I was pleasantly surprised! Certainly not the best pasta I’ve ever had but totally hit the spot.
I had the cacio e pepe with chicken and mushrooms and enjoyed it. The chicken didn’t feel like the best quality so I’ll probably try a different protein next time. Also while it’s convenient to eat it out of the take away container, I felt like it would have been better dumped out in a bowl when I got home because there was a decent amount of sauce at the bottom that just naturally filtered it’s way down.

Delicious pasta for a decent price. I was blown away by how good it was. Definitely check it out. I got the bolognese with extra Parmesan. 10/10 better than Sfoglina!

I found this spot completely by chance, and was absolutely delighted! The pomodoro sauce is to die for and the noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked. The prices are also especially reasonable for the amount of food you get. My new favorite in Ballston!

I ordered the Cacio e Pepe from Scolapasta (Ballston Quarter location) via UberEats for dinner tonight. It tastes just as horrible as it looks. It’s drenched in oil, salt, and heavily smothered in cheese. It doesn’t taste anything like Cacio e Pepe. I can’t even explain what it tastes like, but it tastes really bad. They did not prepare this correctly. I ended up throwing most of it in the trash. This was a waste of $27. I won’t order anything from here again.

I visited this place because I saw it on Instagram, the food was very good but I was disappointed when I started eating and a hair came out, I immediately told one of the workers to please change my pasta, she did it but she was not very kind.

Better pasta than fancier places, and with none of the fuss. Service is fast, menu is great, but the key is that the pasta is fresh and never overcooked–eat in and eat it fresh for a texture and flavor that is hard to come by at any price. Love it!
