Guys hear me out, I know on mountain food is always crazy expensive, but I actually thought the quality and portions at this dining facility was amazing compared to the numerous I’ve been to across the US. They load you up on the tenders and fries basket, and you could easily split that for 2 people, trust me. All the sauces, including the honey mustards and ranch etc are free. I actually enjoyed this facility so much that I ate there are 3 of my ski days to try different stuff. Setting the standard for ski mountain dining staff and quality!

We are in Jackson Hole for Christmas. Skiing and Casper Restaurant are fix points for our Christmas Ski vacation. It is a busy place and around lunch time difficult to find a table. Pricy for families with kids! The cashier machines are fairly easy to handle. However, for me a scandal machines ask for tip!!! I wait in line, I scan, and I pay. This should be adjusted.

I don’t leave many reviews on Google, but I felt compelled to say something. All the restaurants on JHMR had a SIGNIFICANT decline in food quality this year. I don’t know what happened, but it’s really bad now. Casper was never a Michelin-rated restaurant, but it was reasonable for a reasonable price. Whatever. This year, it took a turn for the worse. The burritos are cold, the pretzels are stale, the cheese is old and crusty. The portions got smaller. The whipped cream is always out. Don’t even get me started on Rendezvous…

If JHMR hired a new food director, that person needs to be replaced. It’s so bad this year. All the locals are talking about it.

I mean, it’s ski food. It’s good. But the location and service is always fantastic. Love it up there. Enjoy sunning on the deck during spring skiing!

Avoid the burrito. It’s a pound of white rice wrapped in a tortilla. Maybe 2oz of chicken and a spoonful of black beans for flavor. I was extremely lucky and got a couple of bonus bone fragments. Not expecting gourmet but something that comes close to Taco Bell quality would be an improvement.

for as great of a mountain as this is. The good choices and quality are a very small step above the high school lunch room. Only because they have a bar. Like Jackson Hole… you can do better…

Food is ok. Cuban is…interesting (but I’m from Florida so there’s a strong opinion there). Tenders are ok too. Service is ok. Only major complaint is that the bathrooms reek and are pretty gross. Don’t plan to sit lol.

It’s a ski lodge with ski food. What do you expect? They do have gluten free buns if you’re gluten free. And gluten free bread if you want a gluten free grilled cheese or something.
