Got the roasted pork banh mi, with the sweet and spicy spread (you have to ask for it to be added) delicious. it already has jalapenos but if you love a spicy roasted pork sandwich with a crunchy and soft baguette, well-rounded with fresh cilantro and veggies, you got to try Amy’s. It was so good, i ate it too quickly and it is a decently sized sandwhich. I am picky on meat textures and I was able to happily eat the entire sandwich. Also got the coffee creme jelly, and flan as a tasty dessert along with pineapple cake and Vietnamese coffee. If you have stuff to do, get Vietnamese coffee. I look forward to the next sandwich! Service was great as well! I hope more people try this place out.

Amy’s Banh Mi is our new favorite restaurant in the area, and we can’t wait to return! Their baguette is made in-house—a rare and difficult skill that the staff has perfected. We love the combo banh mi, meatball banh mi, grilled pork banh mi, and Vietnamese hot coffee. The pork is grilled fresh to order, and the authentic flavors bring us right back to Vietnam. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is incredibly kind, even offering us a complimentary freshly baked baguette, which we truly appreciated. Please note the restaurant is takeout only, and bringing cash is recommended for the discount.

We stopped by here after our trip and my eyes are bigger than my stomach as I spent over $70 The food was legit and on point. The portion was alot and the staffs were welcoming. It is hard to find a good/authentic banh mi places in the Hampton area so this is definitely the spot to go to. If we don’t live 45-50 minutes away from Chesapeake I would probably go here every 2 or 3 weeks lol.

Saw this on our drive one day and put it on the list! It was totally worth the drive on a Friday afternoon!
The human running the counter was so kind to me and my 4 year old.
The place was the perfect size for counter size take out spot, but still inviting when you have to sit and wait for food. I loved the fridge area and the other food items on the shelf’s that I’ll check out next time. My little one also got a special treat along with a complementary spring roll which she’s never wanted to try before, and she loved it.
When we got home, we took a pic of the food in their wrapping and forgot to take another of them once open. So, apologies for all of the bites! The coffee was tasty according to my husband and the person at the counter (owner maybe?) was watching out for us in how he made it!
My partner and I shared the beef one so we took a pic to good measure!
Again, super cool humans. Let’s give this spot lots of business!!!

I just got back from a work trip and found this gem — open since September 2025 — so I had to try it. I love Bánh Mì, and it’s big back home in Rhode Island, so my expectations were high.
I ordered the Cá Chiên (Fish Cake), Đặc Biệt (Combo Special), and Bò Nướng (Grilled Beef). The fish cake was delicious — even better later with rice and my homemade sweet/spicy fish sauce. Both Bánh Mì were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. The grilled beef was my favorite.
My only note is the pickled daikon and carrots were a bit too mild for me; I prefer a stronger sour-sweet profile like back home. But that’s just personal taste.
Overall, this spot is now my top favorite in Hampton. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been looking for a Vietnamese place and this is it!!! I’m so excited. I’ve been homesick for my mom’s food and the banh mi from northern Virginia. The banh mi was almost perfect! A good amount of meat, all of the fix ins, and the bread is perfect. It does taste slightly different than the ones I’m used to, potentially missing magi seasoning but otherwise was amazing. They sell bánh bot loc, banh bao, banh cuon, and other Vietnamese foods. This will be my new go to place so I no longer feel as homesick. There are drinks too but I will try more foods next time.

I was driving home from running errands and this place caught my eye! I made the quickest u-turn of my life when I saw this bánh mì shop. And I’m so glad I turned around. Their baguette is fresh! The ingredients are top notch. The food is made with love. Amy’s is doing it right. A family-owned business making authentic Vietnamese sandwiches (bánh mì). If you’ve never had bánh mì, I suggest you start at Amy’s.

Authentic and great quality banh mi! Their banh mi is the real stuff and definitely satisfies that craving. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful and the banh mi is a great size. I also tried their milk tea with boba and their boba is the perfect consistency. The flavor was still great and I got it with 50% sugar.
The owners and workers are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Amy’s Banh Mi!

Its fresh, we’ll executed and nuanced to what you see in the area. Ive been three times now and have had three different sandwiches all of which are 5 stars. The Vietnamese Coffee is a the best smack in the mouth I’ve had. And they have a rotating stock of desserts and sides it seems. A gem of the Hampton area.

great to-go banh mi! they made me a vegetarian banh mi with tofu, but they have a lot of different options. I also got a passion fruit green tea, and the owner gave me a free sample of their peanut and rice pudding, which was excellent. in addition to hot food and drinks, they have a small selection of Vietnamese groceries for sale.
