Great funny service with excellent food. Pumpkin pie was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a slice before my meal. Pancakes had crispy edges just how I like them. Steak was tender, eggs were fresh, and hash browns were golden. Enjoyed the talk of the locals. Not bad for the only restaurant in town.

I don’t write many reviews, but I am today! While visiting family in Conrad we had lunch at the “Home Cafe” and it was out of this world! My Pork Tenderloin sandwich transported me back to the Midwest like I was enjoying a famous Iowa Pork Tenderloin sandwich. The sandwich today was perfect all around! The homemade breading was crisp and cooked to perfection! The pork itself was juicy and tender. The homemade french fries were tasty and the homemade soup was flavorful and served at the right temperature.
The cafe itself was clean and took me right into the atmosphere of a small town diner! Our servers were wonderful! Everyone did such an amazing job! I can’t wait to get back and try more amazing food! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing through Conrad! Thank you to the Home Cafe for an amazing experience!

Great home cooking! Hubby had the breakfast special of biscuits and gravy. Biscuits and gravy were both homemade. We both stocked up on treats for later… caramel rolls and black forest pie. We will be returning!

Classic small town Montana diner. Food was good, service was friendly. As a biscuit and gravy connoisseur I would rate theirs as solid. That meaning 4.5 stars. Good flavor in gravy, biscuits are nice, not overly fluffy but in a good way. Would definitely have them again.

Home Cafe, the place that is clearly a home away from home for many of its customers. You really do feel right at home, even being new to both the town and restaurant. Overall, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a small town cafe. Friendly, relaxed place with just plain old good food, no special bells or whistles present or needed. Freshly hand cut fries were a nice compliment to the meal, though.

My only complaints was there’s not a lot of selections for your coffee (no liquid creamers) & they said they only make country gravy on the weekends, which was a bummer cuz we wanted country fried steak breakfast with country gravy (they had brown gravy).
