We have visited El Patio in La Quinta a few times and have had the best meals and service there! No matter if we are sitting in the bar or outside, we always get the Chiles Gueros. We have also had the appetizer Tacolgado which was such a cool experience. The tacos are hanging over a very flavorful red sauce. We have been there on a Tuesday and the tacos were great. Their margaritas are all freshly made and you can tell. We have gotten the Cadillac and Spicy Margaritas and we recommend them both. Service is always good here.

I had an incredible dinner at El Patio La Quinta and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was perfect: warm, welcoming, and just a great vibe overall.
The standout, however, is the food. You can tell they prioritize quality because everything tasted incredibly fresh. It’s clear they make everything to order with high-quality ingredients, and it truly makes a difference in the flavor. To top it off, the service was excellent… attentive without being overbearing.
10/10, highly recommend! This is officially one of my new favorite spots

To be honest, we were a little disappointed. The menu and pictures look amazing. The salsa was odd… started almost flavorless and zero heat and every 3rd bite or so, BOOM, Fire Heat! I got the Mole Ranchero Surprise!…. there’s bones and cartilage in a bowl of mole sauce that’s very unique in flavor. If you plan to eat with friends or family, dont order this. You’re constantly pulling stuff out of your mouth to put on your plate. A heads up in the description of the dish would be great. I definitely would have ordered something else. Best horchata in the valley though. And we’d planned to get the churro cart, which looked awesome on other tables, but we didn’t because we were disappointed with dinner. The prices are appropriate and the ambiance is really nice. We may give it a second chance for brunch. Don’t be detoured and try it for yourself. The concept is good and it has potential.

Came here on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly empty but started to fill up around 6. Chips and salsa were good as were the margaritas. The service was a bit slow. I had the Mole Ranchero which was a little watery. Wife had shrimp tacos that were good.

Solid on all accounts! Came here for the first time tonite and enjoyed the experience. My Patron margarita tasted good and I especially liked the glass rim lined 50/50 with salt and tahine. My chicken taco salad was also yummy. Servers were very pleasant.

Great new family owned business in the desert. I ordered the Mole Ranchero, a robust flavor of spicy pork not sweet at all. My wife had the shrimp with the zarandeada sauce, and loved it! Very flavorful and just spicy enough. Can’t wait to come and try their breakfast!!

A good friend of mine recommended this spot, and I have to say it really exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is cute with an earthy, colorful vibe and an open half-kitchen concept. The chips and salsa were very flavorful, and we started our meal with house-made margaritas -Tamarindo, Jamaica, and Mango with Tajín. They were all delicious, but I think the mango was my favorite!
I wasn’t in the mood for meat definitely had seafood on my mind, so I ordered the octopus tacos, while my partner got the fish burrito. It was perfect because we could share! The service was great throughout the meal, but we hit a snag when it came time to pay. I had given our server my card to charge everything, but when I was ready to settle the bill, there seemed to be confusion as if they hadn’t received it. It took a bit of time to sort it out, which was frustrating since I had tried to ensure a smooth payment process. On a side note, the beans were tasty, but the rice was just okay.

Tortilla Soup and Chicken Fajitas were amazing. The Chicken Fajitas is delicious, tender chicken meat and good for 3 people. It’s a lot! Great service, great atmosphere! It’s our first time here. We’ll be coming back.

The food here is absolutely amazing, the service is top-notch, and the ambiance is just perfect. If you’re searching for an authentic Mexican dining experience, look no further—this is the place! The staff is incredibly welcoming, and with roots in Jalisco, you can trust that the flavors are the real deal. I’m so glad I discovered this gem and will definitely be returning.
I highly recommend trying the enfrijoladas—the beans are incredibly fresh and flavorful, instantly transporting me back to my visits to Mexico. This place is a must-visit!

Really nice looking Mexican restaurant with unique decor. We sat on the patio which was really nice. The servers were also very friendly! And checked up on us regularly.
The food and drinks though were unimpressive. I ordered a Pina Colada which was decorated really nicely and came in a unique glass. However, it tasted very watery and was not a good Pina Colada at all. We also had the watermelon margarita and the Jamaica which were better.
We shared the Lidia and Guanatos tacos. We found them very plain, and were disappointed they were not like the tacos and food we have had in Mexico. The beans had no flavor, it would have been nice if the tacos came with cheese, the meat could have used more flavoring, etc. We did not like the food at all! And we did not think anything was worth the price.
