Neighborhood location with no website, but a presence on facebook. Friends of ours are always on the hunt for places that have decent chicken wings with good sauces and we were told that this place offers that. Tuesday and Thursday nights have Wing Specials (95 cents per wing for as many as you want) so we came to try it out.
The place is “unprepossessing” to say the least. It’s dated and looks like what it is – a dive bar. Not much in the way of beer selection and a menu limited to burgers, fries, and sandwiches. We came for the wings though, and they offer more than a dozen sauces in both wet and dry types and various heat levels. So, we tried eight different ones amongst the four of us. One of us got the chicken tenders as we did not all want to deal with the bones. The waitress told us that for tenders, you only get about four, so we ordered two portions. Oops! What we got was enough for four people!
The sauces went the gamut from a lemon pepper dry rub to their hottest sauce which was habanero based and consequently packed a nice punch. Service was quick although the tenders did come out quite a few minutes after all the orders of the Wings, which was odd. Side salads were pretty standard.
Not expensive and definitely worth the money!

First time there and was pleasantly surprised with the hard working staff handling the busy bar and restaurant. Hat’s off to “Malia” and her Son for the crazy chaotic way they worked together to ensure all of their customers were attended to without having to wait for anything. I had a burger and wings along with a couple of drinks, left full and satisfied, I will go back when I’m in the area again, thanks for the good food and interesting environment.

I was threatened by a man as I was ordering a drink – the bartender with the bad bowl cut hair immediately defended him after this man was threatening to make me “eat through a straw” this bar is an absolute dump and obviously welcomes a rough crowd

A coworker and I were in Canonsburg for work. I Yelped for good wings and cold beer and New Hofbrau was at the top of the list.
So off we went.
So coming from Texas, we don’t have neighborhood taverns. Just not legal I guess. NH was something I would have seen in an Archie Bunker scene.
We were not disappointed. Great bar setting. Great food. Family atmosphere.
As for the food, me being a wing guy, I got wings w/ sauce on the side. I do this as it keeps the wings crispier I was not disappointed. Wings were awesome. Hot. Crispy. And then touched with a bit of sauce, OH SO GOOD.
My coworker and I each got the hand cut French fries as a side and we should have shared. Huge portions and so hot and crisp. Add some ketchup and a little black pepper, bammm, mmmmm so good.
I wish we in Texas had places like New Hafbrau.

Still the BEST WINGS in Canonsburg! Melia and Jimmy are great people and run the bar so well together still. Most bartenders are super friendly and easy to talk too.

Great friendly neighborhood place. They say “best wings on town”, and no argument here! And the fries were straight out of the fryer! Out of red wine, but offered a generous pour of white! Super nice, super friendly staff. Zero complaints

Our first time here was this evening. We knew it’d be busy as it was wing night, but were fine with waiting because we heard great things. Not only was the food great, but our waitress was actually the owner and was by herself. We truly didn’t mind waiting as the food was worth it, but after learning why the owner was alone, it was really not a problem. We could tell she puts her staff above her needs and values them and her customers. We can’t wait to come back.
