We had a very pleasant experience: the ambience and the food were great. It appears that a lot of food from the small menu is locally sourced. We had truffle fries and whole Main lobster, luckily already plucked out of its shell – a rare offering in Greenville.

The service was also excellent with two minor areas for improvement: there is no hostess, so getting seated was a little confusing and awkward. Then some time was wasted around the check processing. The server, however, was absolutely delightful.

Great service!
Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She sold us on several items.

***Get the CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!!***
You will not be disappointed! Probably the best I’ve ever had!

The RISE BAKERY GRILLED BAGUETTE had a good flavor. I’d get it again.

-Entres-
The TROLL CAUGHT WEST COAST SALMON was probably the best entre we had. The skin is left on and allows you to taste the herbs. The flavor was good.

The TAGLIATELLE was ok. The pasta was good, but I didn’t love these mushrooms. (I usually do like mushrooms)

The SPICY TAIWANESE STYLE FRIED HALF CHICKEN was good. The breading was good, and the chicken was cooked perfectly.

-Desserts-
The RASPBERRY ÉCLAIR was just ok. Not too dry, just the taste missed the target.

The DARK CHOCOLATE CRÈME BRÜLÉE was good. Be sure to eat a small piece of the orange with each bite.

The WASTONIA FARMS PEACH HAND PIE was good. We would get this again.

I’ve found myself preferring the hotel restaurant scene lately. This place was no exception! The seating was cozy and calm yet active and vibrant at the same time. It was cold out so I’m assuming that’s why it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night but, besides the bar area, we were the only table. Our server was friendly and just attentive enough to not be overbearing.
We started with the truffle fries. They were good but not outstanding. I prefer shoestring truffle fries and these were regular size fries. They also could have used a bit more cheese. To drink I had the Oak and Honey old fashioned. The cocktail menu was creative and typically priced.
I ordered the fried chicken with Brussels sprouts and beans. I didn’t realize when I ordered that it was gluten free and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. It’s incredibly hard to find gluten free fried chicken so I’m definitely highlighting this point! Our server said that the menu is rotating but they always have a fried chicken option and it’s always gluten free. Oh, and ingredients are sourced locally—another plus!
My husband ordered the carbonara. He had a craving for that dish and it hit the spot.
Here’s my only request (and I’m going to start adding it to every review): PLEASE add one vegan dish to every menu. A simple vegetable plate or a grain bowl. It doesn’t have to be fancy. This is needed especially in a hotel restaurant! I appreciate the cauliflower option here!

Food was overpriced and awful and so was the service. Dont waste your time or money. My buddy had the steak which was well done (not the medium rare that was ordered) for 39 bucks the steak better at least come cooked right. And i ordered the burger (medium but came rare) and tasted like dish soap.

What a beautiful location, decor, and ambiance. Jay greeted us warmly, introducing himself as the bar manager and our server for the evening. He was funny, knowledgeable, helpful and made the entire experience really nice. The food was good and served beautifully.

We will be back! Thanks, Marriott, for this beautiful location.

Everyone was amazing, especially with helping me get a chair at the bar. it was packed when I got there. The manager carried one over! The hostess was really flexible and my waitress at the bar gave me one on one attention. Drink was big and strong (!). I had To Bee or Not To Bee. Dinner was a grilled baguette and the special – lobster ravioli. Delicious

I give it a 3 for over all experience. We weren’t sure where the host stand was when we walked in, first off. Then a couple walked in with us and they left because no one would acknowledge either of us. The bar staff didn’t even look our way and they weren’t very busy. I had booked a reservation online so that’s why we decided to wait. Tried to go up and ask a gentleman behind the bar and he dismissed me. Finally Jay came out and said he would be with us shortly. He really turned our night around! He was so pleasant, welcoming and a great listener. I would definitely give him 10 stars if I could! He was knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. I ordered the featured cocktail and was surprised how good it was and well balanced. We ordered the ribeye and Moroccan fried chicken. I have not been able to enjoy fried chicken in years because it’s normally fried in oil that upsets my stomach and super greasy. It was also not to dry and just decadent! The ribeye was cooked exactly how we requested also. Only complaint with the food is that the green beans were cold. Loved the look of the restaurant and the adjourning hotel was lovely!

Had the best night here! Was traveling on a business trip and wanted to check out a cool spot downtown and so glad I chose this one! It’s a beautiful space and ambiance; I sat at the main bar and Jason took care of me, he was SO phenomenal! Knowledgeable, friendly, kind, all around best bartender and made me an epic cocktail! I also got the steak which was the besttt dish! Thanks Oak & Honey

Really enjoyed my first time at Oak & Honey. The decor and space is really nice! I don’t think there is anything like this in Greenville that compares. Feels relaxed, refreshing and inviting.

We went on a Thursday night. There was a live musician that played a great mix of songs. Their signature mixed drinks were delicious. Good selection of local beers too.

The food was overall very good! I was indifferent on the flatbread. The wings, mac n cheese and potato chip nachos were excellent tho!!

I read some of the reviews prior to going – we didn’t experience any of the issues that some reviews complained about. The food came out fast and the wait staff was attentive. It was quite a busy night too.

I look forward to spending more time here!

The food here is not worth the price and is very basic and underwhelming. The service is great, every time I’ve gone here the Manager, the bartender, and the servers are very nice. The ambience is pretty nice as well. It’s pretty clean and looks great although I could do without any of the live jazz music. I have had the burger, the brussels sprouts, the fries, the calamari, and a couple other things in the menu. The food is extremely underwhelming. Very well stocked bar, however, and the bartenders do a decent job.
