My Tokyo ,Japanese restaurant, Main St Tarrytown N.Y. A small quaint bistro style, sushi and sashimi was absolutely “oishi” delicious ,sashimi was well balanced and fresh ,”gohan” (rice) fluffy and delicious, miso soup delicate and delicious . If you love gyoza you can order by 6 or 12 ,delicious and gyoza wings was perfect. You can also order matcha, had nice flavor eventhough it was made with oat milk, whole milk is much better. If your ever in the neighborhood your palette won’t disappoint. Give this place a try.

STOP EVERYTHING YOU DOING AND GO THERE RIGHT NOW! Feels good to say we finally found our go to spot for this type of cuisine in the area. The Karage, spectacular. The Shrimp Tempura roll, stupendous. The Sweet Potato Fries, I NEED MORE! The Shrimp Fried Rice, a whole meal. Including pictures so you know I’m not lying. And it’s BYOB friendly. They have special lunch options till 3:30pm too! Honestly, I’m concerned about my account because now we have to budget for stopping by here at least once a week! Dine in, food is best fresh!

We love My Tokyo! The fish is incredibly fresh and artfully prepared. The calm and intimate dining atmosphere is perfect for enjoying the authentic flavors of delicately prepared Japanese cuisine. I recommend going in the afternoon on a weekday before the dinner rush gets busy. Friday and Saturday nights are usually packed and once you taste the food you will easily see why. The menu is not too big and they offer the best most authentic dishes, you will not find too many gimmicky or trendy dishes here. My Tokyo is an absolute must for the river town sushi scene.

Had the best lunch at My Tokyo in Tarrytown! Their sushi was incredibly fresh and they just melted in my mouth. The shrimp tempura was so light and crispy. I don’t usually eat fried food, but their tempura was so good that I couldn’t stop eating them and I was lowkey kinda sad when it was all gone. You really need to try it! Service was great and the chef here is amazing. It was an upscale quality dining experience in a cute vibey restaurant without the pretentious price tag. Hands down my favorite sushi experience. Will definitely be going back again!

Super disappointed. Ordered the Umami bowl specifically for the scallops. Came home (did takeout) and there are NO scallops. Paid extra for uni and got one small piece. The ginger salad dressing only tastes like super salty soy sauce and the salad itself is basically just arugula. The iced matcha latte was luke warm due to hardly any ice. Picture showing my search for the non existent scallops.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE. As once a local I have been a customer of this resturant since they opened. And is always my first stop when I am back in town. This restaurant has cultivated such a comfortable environment for me to expand my love for sushi and other foods. From someone who has gone from cucumber rolls to midori rolls this place will always and forever be a home away from home and the best restaurant. From my first visit in August of 2019 to my most recent this past week this is the best place ever!

What a trip to My Tokyo! Working in the area has made me accustomed to more of the same but this place definitely sets itself apart. Ordered were the tempura bowl, Katsu Don, Oyako rice bowl, mango and eel sushi rolls and the mango shaved ice. Make sure to make a reservation as this place fills up fast. For a 6pm dinner service, the space was small but filled up quickly with diners inside and outside on the sidewalk. Everything was super fresh and tasted amazing. My favorites were the mango roll and shaved ice. Lots of mango in both and just the right amount of tuna in the roll. The Oyako bowl was just as satisfying but note that the bottom of the bowl has equal parts of rice to chicken/mushroom/egg which makes this option extra filling but so delicious in the end. Service was super fast, friendly and patient. You’ll end up rolling out of here like we did. Stop by if you’re in the area.

Amazing low key but delicious sushi restaurant. They have the best tempura I’ve had anywhere (Japan included), and have extremely fresh fish I didn’t expect to find outside of fancy restaurants in the city.
Their matcha affogato is also a nice treat to wrap up a great meal with.

Some of the freshest sushi you can get in the area. They also have really delicious appetizers such as their sweet potato fries and dumplings. Everything you order feels intentional and thoughtfully prepared. The place is very clean and the waiters are sensitive to food allergies.

server here is so nice and attentive! the food is excellent! I can see the chef is very educated in what he does. all the menu here was executed so well. if it’s a fried item, it came out really crispy, if the sauce is supposed to be tangy, it was tangy and well balanced. interior is very modern and minimal. plenty of parking around the neighborhood. I was sad to find out they did not serve alcohol, but on the bright side there is a liqour store literally right across the restaurant where you can purchase one and bring to the restaurant to consume. everything was perfect, willing to drive from Manhattan again!
