What a very cute little Mexican restaurant on Franklin. Metered parking on the street or side streets. Came in for lunch after a horseback ride and enjoyed our visit. Cute cozy bar area and a lot of fun decor on the walls and an upstairs section to eat as well. This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Cole took excellent care of us. Made my skinny margarita to perfection.

We started with the smoked chicken taquitos and they were just excellent. Stuffed nicely with a large amount of chicken and pretty decent size. I only wish it came with three or four instead of two. Then we had the nachos with smoked chicken and while they were absolutely divine on the flavors with all that cheese sauce and black beans they were very difficult & messy to consume. They come stacked like a tostada pizza or something so we had to cut it in half to try and share it. I prefer the practical nachos. No fun to have to work so hard for your food lol. Cole gave us some complementary chips and salsa for a birthday so that was a definite plus. They were warm and the salsa was very good. I highly recommend this establishment. Very tasty food and nice atmosphere with excellent service!

I went yesterday, picked up my order. I was so excited when i saw the menu, because i didn’t know they had fusion foods. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Taco was so delicious and juicy. I thought it was going to be a bit dry but it was delicious, and i ordered the BBQ Brisket Burrito. I even got a Blood Orange drink. Excellent service. Nice little place. But mostly the food was good. Looking forward to try Shawarma and Al Pastor soon. Love they have Vegan Options as well.

I really like the food and ambiance here. It’s upscale Mexican / bar food with Asian fusion options. The happy hour prices are right but the servers get overwhelmed often. They are cool tho. Can recommend wings and Korean fried chicken burrito

I didn’t know that I have such a good restaurant right behind the corner! It’s great because you can come here as vegan or non vegan together and both have great meal. The vegan menu is so good, so you can eat regular diet and order it without disappointment! My not vegan husband loved the vegan Korean chicken taco. I loved the vegan Baja fish taco so much. The cauliflower taco was also surprisingly full of flavor, I loved the cabbage and tahini dressing. The side of refried beans was fresh and delicious. My husband loved his mole enchilada, and we both loved the vegan Caesar salad. In the end we got also a yummy vegan dessert, which was gluten-free bread pudding with coffee ice cream! It was all so good! We are coming back! The staff is extraordinary nice and attentive.
To everyone who is reading these reviews about high prices, I am adding a picture of our receipt…

Honestly one of the best meals I have had in LA. Bartender was overworked but still great at checking in. A great meal, great margarita, great service!

This place just opened up and the food is deliciously awesome. A wide variety of taco options, ranging from meat to fish, will make your tongue dance, and the warm chips along with guacamole are an absolute must. Their bowls are served on a plate, and I highly recommend the Al Pastor one. The cauliflower is unique and the meat is soft like butter and very juicy. Lastly I’m really excited about the fact that they have stunning moctails. Rumors has it that they will serve a mango one. Their staff is super friendly, attentative and the prices are absolutely fair. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this place. Check it out!

There are many places to dine in this area. This place is local favorite. The vibes are good and food is appetizing. It’s a great place to go with a group. This way you can sample and review more of the menu. The smoked chicken taquitos, nachos, and guacamole with chips are good options to start.

The servers are attentive and able to handle multiple checks. If the weather is pleasing we get a table outside. If not dine upstairs with your group.

Went during happy hour. It was packed. The service good and prompt.

I enjoyed the Villita nachos:
Freshly fried corn tortillas, yummy queso and packed with flavor. I could have done without the birria add-on

I had the spicy watermelon grapefruit margarita—it was good.

I’d definitely recommend and go back. My only negative feedback is the dogs inside the restaurant.

There is a dedicated parking lot on Bronson, and timed street parking on Tamarind and Bronson.

The walk paths and seating is too tight to have dogs taking up space. I love animals but I don’t like them in restaurants and grocery stores (around food).
