Swung by on a rainy Saturday afternoon. No line. There is a bench outside so not really anywhere to sit. We ate in the card since it was raining.

Good smooth shave ice. $7 for a bowl with no toppings or under.

Wow! What a great dessert!!! We ordered their ‘best’ product. Fabulous flavored shaved ice on top of coconut cream. On a hot, muggy day you should treat yourself to one of these cold delights!

They have the best Shaved Ice on the island, a great selection of flavors, with ice cream and condensed milk topping.
The service is friendly

One of the best shave ice we had on our visit to the islands. Great flavors and the ice cream ratio was perfect!

This place is disappointing. Not recommended. Compared to jo jo shaved ice or Wailua shaved ice or even some of the food trucks were more exciting. For the same price of $12, I can get an Açaí bowl at Aloha Aina juice cafe two doors down and be more satisfied.

1. The cream top was just watered down cream. It didn’t even have shape.
2. Flavors are all syrups, no fruit purée
3. Fruits on the bottom? Why? So I can get to it once my ice turns watery? frozen, not fresh.
4. A spoonful of Ice cream portion in the bottom was lazy.
Better places put shaved ice, an ice cream ball, fruit purée, fresh fruit, and a cream top that hold its shape like whipped cream. Or a combination.

The owner should think about making a better product for $12, and consistent.

The Kauai Kine was yummy, they are generous with their macadamia nut ice cream. Staff wasn’t the friendliest or welcoming. Only one party allowed in the store at a time.

I can’t believe they are still opened for business the reviews wow ..

My sister and me got some shave ice only thing the ice wasn’t packed like it should have been she said she’s running out of ice and it would take 15 minutes for new ice she said she can probably make one but she end up making 2 it was 15 minutes no new ice .. our shave ice melted so fast I know it gets humid out but I’ve had Plenty of shave ice it don’t melt that fast.

Customer Service was good she’s a young girl with a friendly mannerism.

We stopped at Uncle’s on our way to the airport. We had to have Shave Ice one last time before leaving. We had tried several other Shave Ice places while visiting and this was our least favorite. I don’t think what we received matched the description in the menu but it was still good. The teenage workers were not the friendliest and didn’t give us recommendations like other Shave Ice places we had visited.

Great shaved ice! We loved the macadamia nut ice cream that you can get as an “under” for your shaved ice.

If I could give 0 stars I would !!!

What an absolute joke of a business. The store claims to be open from 12 to 6pm, but apparently they just decide to shut down completely at 1pm for a full hour-long lunch break. Not a “back in 5” situation—fully closed, door locked. If you’re only open six hours a day, maybe don’t disappear for one of them?

This is ridiculous she looked at us holding a cup of noodles through locked door and said I AM ON LUNCH .

I asked her to call the owner because it’s not acceptable, so she did let me talk to her manager.

When I finally spoke to the manager, their response was even more ridiculous: “It’s normal for us to close for lunch.” Seriously? That’s your customer service strategy? Close your entire business in the middle of the day and act like that’s totally fine? News flash: it’s not. Every other food place manages to serve customers and let employees eat without locking customers out.

If your staff can’t be bothered to work a six-hour shift without shutting the place down, maybe you shouldn’t be running a business at all. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. This place clearly doesn’t want your business
