Excellent food and atmosphere! The owner is Italian and creates beautiful and authentic Italian cuisine. I ordered the parmigiana di melanzane and the tagliatelle al ragú it was phenomenal. Wonderful wine selection and other cocktails as well.

Best dining experience! This is an exceptional meal from start to finish. The owner and his staff are real Italians and have the hospitality and attention to detail you find in Italy. We sampled delicious wine, homemade gnocchi, ravioli, sauces, and tiramisu that melted in our mouths. The meatballs left me speechless. We nearly ordered more food to take home since it was so delicious. It was not only the food, but the dining experience you wish for in an evening out. We live out of town and will return to experience this place again. I will add that one of us felt a cold coming on and after eating this amazing meal – felt right as rain. We are certain this Magical pasta is the reason. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great experience here. We came in to dine on Friday night at around 9pm. We were seated immediately with excellent service throughout our meal.

The host was extremely friendly and social and came in to chat with us throughout our meal. We recommend the focaccia which arrives warm and goes perfect with the sauce from the meatballs. We also loved the meatball appetizer. Both of our pasta dishes were outstanding, you won’t go wrong with any of their signature pastas which is cooked perfectly al dente. We finished with tiramisu which is made to order with fresh espresso.

Overall, really great date night spot or a place to grab a casual upscale meal. The host sent us home with a small treat for the road which was much appreciated because we really wanted to try the chocolate salame. Thank you again!

This is an excellent restaurant if you’re looking for some of the best creative pasta dishes this side of Italy. All their pastas complement their fish, chicken and beef entrees. Don’t forget to order their fried calamari as an appetizer. You will not be disappointed. Service is impeccable.

The food was amazing and Vito really made us feel at home! He went out of his way to accommodate us, was so generous, and had great stories to tell. The restaurant has great reviews but you still never know for sure what to expect. From the wine and burrata appetizer to the lasagna, gnocchi, and pasta and clams entrees, and then finally the lemon meringue pie…everything was fantastic!

An outstanding Italian dining experience from start to finish.

The Focaccia di Recco is exceptional—crispy, rich, and perfectly balanced, just as it should be. The bucatini cacio e pepe is hands down the best I’ve ever had: creamy, perfectly executed, and deeply satisfying.

The Italian wine selection is excellent and thoughtfully curated, elevating the entire meal. A special mention goes to Vito, whose service was truly impeccable—warm, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive.

And do not leave without the gelato: incredibly delicious and genuinely reminiscent of Italy.

The ambience is comfortable, elegant, and welcoming, making it a place you want to linger. Il Pastaficio Westport is a true gem and an absolute must. ✨

Delicious homemade pasta in a lovely environment served by a staff that takes very good care of you. We came here for my husband’s birthday when he wanted homemade pasta, Il Pastaficio was the perfect answer. We would happily return for more of this delicious food.

We stopped on our way home from a long ski trip. The staff seemed friendly at first, but then rushed us into ordering after just sitting down. The items weren’t exactly as advertised, with one appetizer being 100% fried, without a description of such. We shared a couple of plates (close to $150) and then asked to order more food, since we didn’t order enough when we were rushed initially. After waiting a few minutes, the waiter told us the kitchen would take too long to make the food since there were more people. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, and “more people” didn’t equate to a full restaurant. Beyond this, they didn’t bring part of our order and brought a second glass of mediocre wine I didn’t order after asking for the wine list. I’ve never experienced such service in my life. Incredibly rude, totally uncalled for. I grew up in Fairfield and now live in Greenwich – it’s not like I’m a stranger to the area. We will never be back to any location – Westport or Greenwich – and won’t miss it because it’s really not very good which is why there was an available reservation!

The food here is excellent, and I was looking forward to returning with friends. However, our recent experience was significantly marred by the Vito (the manager)’s attitude. He was unfriendly and dismissive from the moment we arrived, making our meal very uncomfortable and rushed. To top it off, the tip was pre-calculated at 20% and added to our bill (party of two) without our consent with a rude instruction to ‘just leave.’ When my friend questioned why this was done, as tipping is usually at the customer’s discretion, the manager simply shrugged it off, claiming it was ‘what the machine does.’ To make matters even more bizarre, the manager then took the customer’s receipt, despite it being our bill. This kind of service, especially from a manager who blames a machine and then keeps the receipt instead of letting the customer have it, is unacceptable and makes me hesitate to recommend this restaurant despite the good food.”

We had a great experience at Il Pastaficio, everything from the atmosphere as you walk into the quaint restaurant to the attentive service and of course the food! We ordered Fried Artichokes, which were heavenly, Crispy Gnocchi with marinara sauce, also delicious and the Ancient Grains past with fresh seasonal vegetables. We finished the meal with their homemade Gelato, chocolate and pistachio. I’ve never had tastier pistachio gelato, real pistachios were used, I’m sure! We would highly recommend Il Pastaficio for a casual lunch or a special occasion dinner.
