Al punto is a welcome new addition to the neighborhood, serving whopping portions of delicious latin and dominican food.
I ordered the pernil, which comes with rice and beans, a chicken empanada, papa rellena (stuffed potato ball), and a fresh passion fruit juice.
I couldn’t even finish the pernil with rice and beans because there was so much food lol but the flavors were on point, and the pork shoulder was cooked well. Loved the passion fruit juice, too.
Happy to add Al punto to the local rotation. Love seeing Bloomfield’s diversity in cuisine grow. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the food!

The new owners are the sweetest! They have delicious Ecuadorian food. Their pork is incredible! Price is not bad. Will be coming back again.

To be honest the food looks ok. I was a lil hesitant in eating here due to the coloring of the food. They use a lot of sazón. But the pernil has absolutely no flavor. The rice neither. Please use some flavor and not coloring.

They are not Dominican , fake Dominican food , does not even smell Dominican, is more like Colombian food trying to be Dominican.

I’ve had better Dominican food. My fried plantains weren’t cooked through enough and they were abnormally thick, the beans barely had flavor and the chicken empanadas didn’t taste or look like chicken IMO.

hard to believe it is authentic food when they have a HUGE Ecuadorian flag inside..

They just pissed me off. They charge me for a lunch special, which comes with half a chicken and they only gave me a quarter chicken. $16 for a quarter chicken try someplace else
