Today I went to the Southern Fried Rabbit in Columbia, MS. I ordered the sweet potato fries with no salt. The sweet potato fries were Hot and had no salt. I had an errand. I waited to eat my sweet potato fries. Next time I stop in, I will get their Shrimp Poor Boy and more sweet potato fries.

WOW!!! My first time coming here was a great one. I’m from Louisiana and I’m just visiting in Mississippi for the time being, and my mom was smart enough to say we should stop at this small place by the road. At first I was hesitant, but my mom made a point that places like these have the best food, and she was right!!!
I had these Philly Meat Fries and OH MY GOODNESS.They were delicious! I was even able to heat them up in the microwave hours later and they STILL tasted amazing! The woman at the front who served us was also just a blessing. My mom and my uncle said their burgers were amazing as well!
I will definitely come here again if I ever get the chance. It takes a little while to get here from New Orleans but I do hope I see this place in the future!

I bought 2 $13.50 rabbit plate on 06/19/2025 and both plate was cooked way way too hard and the meat inside was burnt,I had to give the meat to my animals. Because I was not edible,I will never order anything from there again,whoever was the cook that day,it is not necessary to place on the deep fryer again,she does not know what she’s doing. Very very disappointed with the service. Waste of money that could of been used somewhere else. I will let it be known to everyone I know

Great menu selection, the choice burgers are cheap! Flying around $7-$8 when all the other shops are selling homemade burgers for $10-$11!
Food just feels authentic, like you’re eating a burger at your 4th of July party. I recommend calling ahead and picking up drive thru (you can’t order in the drive thru).
Rabbit sauce contends with the likes of canes sauce!
