A solid place to go for casual times or even dates, has consistently good quality food and flavors. My favorites are the General Tso’s Chicken (amazing texture) and the Broccoli dish (great sauce). I also love getting the Hot and Sour soup as part of the lunch specials. Also bonus points for very kind and speedy service.

Traveling in the area I stopped in for quick lunch. Outside of the building (old Hardee’s) isn’t super appealing but don’t let that detour you. Inside is nicely decorated, very clean and organized. I ordered beef and broccoli at a fair price. It came with choice of salad, soup or egg rolls. The soup was very good and a generous portion as an appetizer. The beef and broccoli was excellently plated and delicious. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Very impressed. I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend

Large shrimp, fresh crunchy vegetables with Thai Basil. Soup was the prper spice and loaded with mushrooms. The bonus was the economical lunch menu was 4 pages. Our server was very attentive to every need.

Wanted to try something new for my birthday, but didn’t want to fight the traffic. Saw a while back that this place had opened at the old Hardee’s and had always wanted to try, so decided to order for delivery and try several items. For two people we ordered the veggie rolls, seafood pancake, red bean buns, scallion pancake, sesame balls, and veggie dumplings. All of it came hot and packaged well. The seafood pancake was amazing, as were the veggie dumplings. The scallion pancake was thin, but still delicious. Veggie rolls were pleasant with a prominent fresh ginger taste. The red bean buns were SO cute and decorated, were soft, and semi-sweet. Lastly the sesame balls.. like a carnival fried dough with a slightly sweet bean paste inside, rolled in sesame seeds. We had no idea what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was so full of flavor. The Yummy House is a new favorite!

1st time being their for take out. The food was phenomenal. My wife and myself was very impressed. The staff was very very friendly. We will definitely be back for dine in service. We moved to the area from lake norman area a year ago. We were craving Asian food one evening. We went to a local southport Asian restaurant.. Horrible……so we stayed away from local Asian restaurants. …That was a mistake. YUMMY HOUSE you did not disappoint. Thank you.

It might be easy to drive by… But don’t. We grabbed takeout today to celebrate the lunar New Year. Our pan-fried dumplings, orange, chicken, pad Thai and egg rolls were delicious! Inside, the place is immaculate and the service is friendly. We will definitely come back to enjoy the dining experience.

Me & some friends stopped by Yummy House one evening after work for dinner. We had a good experience. The atmosphere was super cute & very clean. We ordered a lot of appetizers to share, which were delicious!! The prices were reasonable as well. You should stop by to eat. We will definitely go back.

Had lunch here for the first time today. Our server, Cherry, was very welcoming and pleasant. We ordered:
chicken katsu don – perfectly crispy chicken and flavorful sauce, generous portion of both chicken and rice
chicken and broccoli – tender chicken, flavorful sauce, broccoli and carrots had just the right amount of bite, again, generous portion.
sesame balls – generous serving of 8, light and crispy outside, chewy and warm on the inside. , steamed egg custard buns – adorable bunny shaped buns almost too cute to bite into, beautiful texture with a sweet creamy custard center.
All of our food looked as delicious as it was pictured on the menu! Service was quick and friendly and everything tasted amazing. I’m shocked that it wasn’t busier. Already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Five of us had dinner here the other night. One of my friends made reservations, however, when we arrived, the place was almost empty. Several more people arrived for dinner.
The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated with fake cherry trees.
We had wonderful service by Sophia, a sweet young woman.
Tony and I had a couple of appetizers (pork eggrolls and fried kimchi dumplings). We expected more flavors in the dumplings, but it was bland. We do love kimchi. The eggrolls were very good.
For my entrée, I had the Thai basil with beef; Tony had the garlic sauce with pork. Both were very good and flavorful. We both had white rice to go with our entrees.
My friends ordered an assortment of appetizers (shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp shumai, and Shanghai pork dumplings. They said everything was good.
We felt the prices were reasonable, although there are some other dishes on the high end.
The menu could be updated. While there’s a photo for each dish, some are misleading if you don’t read it carefully. For example, the Veggie rolls are a serving of 2, yet the photo shows 7. She Shanghai pork dumpling are a serving of 4, but the photo shows 8.

Couldn’t wait to try this place, and I’m so glad I did!! All of the staff were lovely and kind. I saw dishes that I have never seen in Asian restaurants on the East Coast before. The restaurant was well decorated and the food was amazing!!
