You are what you eat.
Updated: i loveeeeed it! I ate it with a nervous feeling, wondering if the pizza would be disappointing like last time, but even though it had cooled down, it was still really delicious. It was crispy and the flavor was excellent.

It is sad for me to write this review.
Nicky, dough was chewy instead of crunchy
Definitely less cheese than before, less flavor.
I brought it to the party and group of 6 ppl ate only half of pie. Used to be tasty even a day after but not this time.
I will give it a shot next time but its just sad when this happens to my fav pizza place.

This place is an absolute gem! Every pizza I’ve tried (and I’ve tried just about every combination) has been perfectly made(I love the thin NY style foldable crust), full of flavor, and always tastes fresh. I’ve never once been disappointed.

Jose and Maria are incredible. Friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to make your visit a wonderful experience. I’ve occasionally been hesitant to try a couple topping combinations but every time they assured me it tastes good and they’ve always been right. They genuinely care about their customers, And the owner, Mickey, sets the tone for it all. Kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both great food and great service. If you haven’t been there yet, you’re missing out.

Update: new prices have gone into effect for 2022. The quality is still the same great taste. However these prices have gone up significantly. At least up by 20%. I understand inflation is hitting everything but this way too much. I’m sorry to say I won’t be coming here for a while.

As a native New Yorker from Queens, this is the closest and best NY style pizza this area has to offer. The pizza is perfect. Cheese, sauce and thin crispy crust. For the past six months I have ordered regularly from here. I order over the phone and directly to the store. Each time the pizzas were ready in 25 minutes or less. Absolutely perfect. I have to drive 11 minutes home and it’s still hot and perfect. If you’re complaining about the geese, get over yourself. You know absolutely nothing about NY pizza.

I’ve never ordered the slices they have ready. Only pies to go.

So bomb!! Stopped by here one day for a snack. My wife and I shared a slice of sausage. It was amazing So recently on Pi Day we ordered a whole pie for delivery. The pizza was wonderful and the wings were on point too. Love this place. Way better than any other pizza place in the area!!

This business advertises two slices of pizza for $7.00 in big red numbers on the menu, yet when I ordered, I was charged $8.50. When I questioned the price, they claimed it had gone up—but if that’s the case, why hasn’t the sign been updated? Looking at reviews, I see another customer complained about this same issue four months ago, yet nothing has changed. Four months have passed after complaints and you are still lying to customers about the price? This is misleading and reflects lazy management. Customers should never be charged more than the advertised price.

If you’re a fan of NYC or you’re from NYC and feeling home sick and misses the lifestyle and the pizza at New York, well this is the place to go.

I wouldn’t say that its better than any of the pizza that I have in NY but it’s the closest thing that we Californians could get. In fairness to this place if we go in to details about it, New York water is different than LA therefore to those who think that the pizza in this place is like NY or we will be the same level well sorry to break the news to you it will never be.

However… Here is the big BUT. This place holds its own flavour and quality. Why? The pizza taste great it’s not your typical Pizza Hut, Papa John’s or Domino’s its actually quite good. The bread is chewy and not too hard or not too soft and they put a lot of topings in their pizza.

Yes it isn’t the same as NY but it can definitely compete against other pizza parlours that claims that they are New York style pizza.

Yes the wait is a little long but it’s understandable because the guy makes the pizza right in front of you. The gentleman over there also offered us a free drink while we wait. Very professional and courteous of him. My wife and I would definitely go back to get a slice or two.

I’m from Brooklyn and my honest review is it comes as close to a New York pizza but from Cali. I have no complaints at all, the service was good, the place was clean. The only thing is they have more pizza with toppings than plain .

I don’t know how the place doesn’t have a 5. Anybody that knows pizza would overlook any other issues simply because this is actual Jersey/NY pizza. I searched far and wide for a good pizzeria on this side of town, and people have suggested absolute garbage that most SoCal people would suggest. If you want an actual good pie, go here. Is the “atmosphere” great? I dunno, it’s a pizzeria, I come in and pick up my large pie and I’m gone.

If you actually like real pizza and not the crap served at most places in LA (with a few exceptions), finding this place on this side of town is like striking gold.

First time customer and I won’t return anymore for obvious reasons. Today I decided to stop by and grab some lunch on the way home from my daughters dance class in Cypress (we live in LB). The pizza and garlic knots were okay. Standard NY thin crust. The knots were reheated and were falling apart but still edible. I saved the cheesecake for later. It’s just pre-packaged refrigerated cheesecake I could have gotten at the grocery store. I put it in the fridge as soon as I got home. Anyways when I opened the package at night, a giant mold spot was staring back at me. I checked the packaging for expiration date and did not find any. This makes me question the quality of the rest of the food I got which I gave to my 4 and 1 yr old. It is very concerning.
